Stupid question but I have to ask, was the cabin fan on?

Did you have the a/c switched on in the car? If the fans run all the time with the pressure switch connected then it is low on gas.

Yeah, I have wanted to get one of the cars I have got for quite some time now and the price I paid was too good to pass up, will make a non Toyota rides thread today.

Bought another daily/work hack so I am not going to register this and then do the swap, I will drive the other around and do the sedan up and then engineer, roady and register it. I 'MIGHT' still have it done by July and here is to hoping but we all know what projects are like.

On the a/c line near the battery is a pressure switch, if there is not enough gas in the system then the pump will be on open circuit, you can jump these 2 pins to see if the clutch engages, if it does then you will need to get a re-gas and leak detection.

Just do what I did and just go out one day and buy one, dad always hated bikes, he has now had 2 :P I rode it for about 1.5 months after the stack and then the mrs decided she would 'get back at me' by damaging the bike, a fair bit has happened over the last year and a bit but it still hasn't hit the road again, I am actually thinking about selling it.

I don't, it would just be easier to buy an engine that is already configured for rwd instead of converting the cooling system and making a drive line to suit.

Take the cable off and turn it by hand, your cable might be frayed. The old KE most likely had a dry or frayed cable.
