There are so many conflicting stories against them and not one thing that says as to why they are (that I can find), in the UK they are frowned upon as the reflectors can scatter the light, I have fitted brand new lights to the car not so long ago and the lights do not scatter, I also got 6000k which are super white lights, the lights will be adjusted so that they don't annoy other drivers, the reason I went for the HID's is because I went for brighter halogens but they melted the wiring and the plug. You should be able to get away with using the crystal reflectors with the HID's, just don't go higher then 6000k as they go blue. I will get some pics or come show you once I adjust them properly. Yo Ev, I know how much you dislike VG30's so I dedicated this engine build just for you :P I will let you know when I am putting the plenum on so you can come help... I shall finish it tomorrow (I hope) so it is ready for the conversion.

Now has 35w bi-xenon 6000k HID's, definitely a good investment. Also serviced it today and rebuilt the dizzy so it should now have nil oil leaks.

One of my hobbies is to drive around taking pictures of floodways during the rainy season, just wondering if anyone else on here shares the same hobby as I am looking to setup a website/forum to share your pics and stories so that the media will have access to the pics and so on, just not sure if I should go ahead or not.

Actually I think I have, I remember seeing a black one with tint and clear tail lights (look a lot damn better then the lights on them), I have also seen a corolla wagon on eBay a while back, I think it was white.

I actually think there is one getting built/getting around with an SR in it, currently building another one at work for my cousin as a daily driver, this one has a 350 chev in it mated to the 300zx 5 speed, looks a bit different as of today though. Yeah they are a prick, have changed a fair few sets of coil plugs and injector plugs, normally put commodore injector connectors on and remove the tab off the injector, while you are at it, get to the injector terminals with a points file. Yeah they have a clutch booster, nice and light on the foot when you have one with 600rwhp and a clutch to suit too.

If it was me, I would buy a 5th gen Lancer or zze12* Corolla wagon and put a nice set of wheels on it and lower it. Lancer Corolla

My damn mrs, the other day I went and got oil, filter and 2 brand new h4 connectors for the HID's and had the connectors and filter on the front floor in a bag, over the weekend we had maccas twice (out and about driving) and threw the rubbish on the front floor, tonight I go to do the service on the car and can't find the bag anywhere (WTF) so I call the mrs, 'where the f@$k is the filter bag?' well, it turns out that she accidently threw it out when we were at carlovers yesterday. woman, bah... :laff:
