A small amount of in and out movement of an axle is completely normal, Raven has posted a very valid point but before you go pulling the centre I would be taking the wheel and drum off and see what movement you have in the axle then.

I am a machine :laff: Engine and box out also includes dropping the cat pipes, heat shields and drive shaft. f@$k all to a K motor, pretty sure it was 30 mins when Cam and I pulled the 4k out of his 30. 6 hours would of been enough to pull the engine out, rebuild it and put it back in :P Didn't get the motor in but the car is now ready for it, got all of the TT stuff installed today: Radiator bottom brackets. TT A/C condenser. TT Aircon pipe (condenser to compressor). TT receiver/drier. TT powersteer return pipe. TT charcoal can pipes. TT boost pipes. Intercoolers. Oil cooler. BOV's. Front bar is all back on. (Intercooler ducts were removed as the bar ducts were too big)

Funny thing about this thread is that the body on this thing looks better then half the 86's that have been for sale over the months.

100kw at the wheels in a corolla is a huge amount of power, approx 80 more horsepower then what your ke70 will put out.

Tonight I went to my mates house that has my old ser2 twincam seca and the box is currently out as the motor is getting built, it is a single starter C52.
-
Did a fair bit today, pulled the N/A out of the car and started converting the body to the TT. (front bar removed to get all the N/A gear out) (Just over 2 hours including the front bar) (now that the N/A is removed I could fit all the non hicas gear off it to the TT) (All N/A stuff stripped from the front, TT intake pipes fitted and intercooler pipe brackets welded on) Tomorrow will be finish installing the piping and TT A/C and put the motor and box in.

Being wondering what happened to Chris. -
Now that it is at home I had a decent look over it and found a faulty thermostat that only opened slightly when hot, kinda weird as the radiator never felt overly hot but probably because there wasn't enough flow to push the hot water out and into the rad so I gutted the one that is in there until I buy a new one, also think that the fuel sender is just faulty from sitting around so I will take it out and see what I can do. Since I am registering as a SOHC I decided I should clean the engine bay up, I do not know what is over it but it is like soot so I got a sponge and started wiping but I am going to leave the rest for the degreaser and gernie. Cleaning comparison: Closer look: Closer look of the still dirty side: I am hoping that the engine bay isn't stained like most of them are.

Good god, Would need to make it rear wheel steer as the front wheels wouldn't be able to pivot with the weight. Here is the running vid of the 570ZX I promised.

Well I am starting to get a bit fed up with people saying that all C52's were a 'mickey mouse' gearbox (2 starter humps), this is not the case, I have owned both with them and without them and have even had C50's with 'Mickey mouse' ears, one of the patterns that I have followed is that the series 1 82's seem to have 1 starter hump whereas the series 2 & 3 have the 2 starter humps. And just to leave the gearbox experts pondering, this is a pic of the C50 in my mums series 2 82: Engine bay for proof: 2nd hump:

Have enough engines there but there are lighter engines out there that offer the same amount of power delivery.

Went to work this morning (didn't know it was a public holiday until my cousin came in 45mins later) and was expecting to see that my cousin had come in over the weekend and finished it but thankfully he didn't touch it, engine is now done and now I just have to convert the car to run the turbo components. (new cam seals) (gears/pulleys, belt, top rad hoses, bottom cover & balancer) (drivers side turbo) (passenger side turbo) (all done)
