  1. Hmm, ok then.... if the previous owner was smart they'd have made sure the locks were swapped over so a shut fight wouldn't happen in trying to figure out what key was for what lock. Been there done that and the ending is never pretty. All the locks (including ignition switch) should have the same code on them if your willing to pull each one out and have a look. Would be the better option then going to the wreckers, or jumping into the market section here, and buying a set and finding out you didn't need them. Trying also to remember if i still have a full set laying myself. But i've got the idea that i've thrown them out.
  2. Who needs suspension when you have displacement to remove speed humps.
  3. Pull the lock out of the drivers door, it'll have a code stamped on it. Take that to a locksmith, not the local keycutter at the hardware store. They'll just need the manufacturer the model and year of the car in question. They'll be able to cut new keys for a you. Don't quote me on the cost. But when dad had a set cut it was about $20 that was over ten year ago.
  4. Have to take the lower half of the back seat out. At the front of the seat down towards the floor there's two 10mm bolts (one either side in the footwells). Take them out, and pull the cushion up at the front and towards the front of the car. The bolts for the the buckles (17mm) are near the centreline and the bolts for the lap belts (17mm) are towards the doors. From memory the configuration of the washers, spacers, etc. Is - Bolt head Tie-down for belt Thin wavy washer (from memory) A spacer - one end will be narrow for the belts tie-down to slip over Spring washer And either a paper or plastic "washer" that screws on to the bolt. It stops everything from falling apart. Getting that cushion back in can be painful at times. If the bolt holes are hard to line up, try sitting on the cushion above the bolts. Hope it helps.
  5. At the moment i'm not even bothering to try and sell stuff..... even the rare stuff i had has gone to the dump :-)
  6. What you'll be after is the compliance plate which will be located above the brake booster. It'll have the build date of the car (month and year) the ADR rules the car complies with and yadda yadda. I'm not even going to bother guessing a year. If its a late model your lucky its a manual if you want to swap in a five speed manual or your unlucky if your planning on swapping in the trimatic.
  7. Carlos, if you want red frogs give Lucky Dip Aust a go for red frogs and green frogs. Its ran by the wifey and a friend. They can also get Dr Pepper :)
  8. Sorry to say Carlos but it looks like i've thrown them out. I know had two pairs of '55 and a pair '70 rails that i was going to chop up and mod for a pair of swift seats but it looks like i've thrown them
  9. I'll have a look and get back to you on them
  10. Throwing out unwanted corolla parts at the moment. It is making me happy. I'm getting extra garage space :)
  11. It'll depend on what make the brakes are, this the calipers i'm referring to. One Sumitomo caliper is worth the weight of two Girlock calipers.
  12. KE70 struts are a direct bolt in. My thoughts are is that the ke70 struts would be the better option to take. Does the '70 have the gearbox ? Its not a direct bolt in. Front seat mounts are different. Steering wheel will fit but it might look a little odd. Glass is different. Wheels are the same. Can't think of anything else at the moment.
  13. Quick answer - Yes Long answer - Yes, but the hose with the filter next to the brake master cylinder goes to the top of the air cleaner. How it sits is fine but maybe cut the hose down so the filter is sitting above the tappet cover.
  14. This is generally a good start. Good start guide
  15. If you only knew, if you only knew :gurgler: The drive is nice but if you park up in the wrong area you'll have the choice of flies, mozzies or sandflies.
  16. Quick question - how are you going to get around the p-plate laws ?
  17. River Heads ! One of Amber's old friends lives out at River Heads.
  18. When he came out on stage, my first thought was "wack job" and after he started "Holy shut, he's better then me"
  19. I did, once, bought myself a '70 with them.
  20. :lmao: Might have to make that my new signature :P
  21. Oh My God |blink| Are you ever going to learn
  22. Turbo charged, super charged, methane injected, diesel burning super truck Awesome
  23. Crap i knew i forgot something. Yep connect the two red wires to override the cutout. The other two you'll have to run them up to the reverse switch on the gearbox up towards the bellhousing. You'll see two wires hanging off a 25mm bolt, thats the reverse switch.
