Just to let you guys know there are two other cruises on the 1st of Feb. The BSM nissansilvia cruise, and the AE86DC cruise. Ill be on the AE86DC cruise. Going down south way like the last RC cruise. But this time through the hills. I Think we should combine the two cruises. would be massive fun!! Tally

my cousin has a spaz everytime he sees my Kesev, he is putting a RB25 in his R32 Last I seen him measuring up my engine bay to see if the RB20 will fit when he takes it out lol

what you want is adjustable camber tops for the e2# series... right? All Japanese Panels & Spares down here in Adelaide can get cusco camber tops for 71 - 74 corollas... They are around 200 - 300... You can also get cusco strut braces for E2# series... With regards to coilovers, AE86 struts can be modded to fit E2#, there is a thread on toyota3tc.com on how to do it... big job There are a few other options that I have come across but can't remmeber at the moment...

yea but I heard that after bob jane had a cry and got funding from gov, the new track got aproval to be built but its all bullcrap till I see it... I'm not having my hopes up anyway... I can't see anything getting built in this town anytime soon...

any more pics of that KE70? heard of it getting around... There is a AE86DC cruise on sunday the 25th of Jan so this will be the weekend after, might make it... hopefully have manual conversion done and suspension in!!! and tomoro tune up and then fun for cruises!!! but weather is heating up hardcore!!!

They are both leaky lol, but one just looks a bit worse... but I guess its from years of build up anyway.... Also one has three switch wires which leaves me to believe its a KE55 one with a KE70 extension housing, although I may be incorrect as the guy pulled it out of his KE70. Anyways yea, I have the gregorys KE70 manual but doesnt help much at all... Cheers for the info Rav - oh lol

Ok guys I have two KE70 K50 5speeds here... Both have front oil seal leaks and they both have oil covering the inner bellhousing... One is not as bad as the other. Now the KE70 manual states that to replace the oil seal you need to dismantle the transmission... Thats all it says... It tells you how to replace the rear oil seal but not the front. So Whats involved with changing the front oil seal.. is there a way around dismatling the gearbox? Is it ok to drive with it like this? Also as I have two I would like to keep the best out of the two... When I twisted the input shaft on both, one was harder to twist while the other was easy to twist. This also happened for the output shaft to the tailshaft... Anyone have ways to determin condition? Both were fairly greasy but I have degreased them and they have came up shmick. So I now will be able to identify any oil leaks. anyone have any help on this subject? Cheers Tally

You and I are having the same problem man, just save up and replace everything you can. I'm doing my timing chain this week, ignition timing and valve clearances... My engine has been sounding like a diesel tractor too lol

Just want to know what settings I should go by when adjusting things such as valve clearances and rest. My engine is a 4K with a 3K-H head so I don't know what to use... like do I adjust engine stuff in regards to a 4K engine or a 3K engine. or are all the settings the same between K engines? any help would be great I have a corolla 1200 workshop manual for the E20 series but it doesnt list the 3K-H and I havnt got a 1300 workshop manual for an E7 so I will get one if I have too...

Ok so... I'm having problems with the engine. 1. The timing is out 2. The valve clearances are out 3. Carbie needs a rebuild and yesterday it got worse as I was driving on the highway, the engine started stuttering, like it would cut out for a mili-second every second while building revs... I also found out that my 3K head is in fact a 3K-H head, so I guess I am running a bit more comp then a stock 3K head... So becasue I have this head I'm not sure what settings I have to go by.... 3K or 4K? eg like do I adjust engine stuff in regards to a 4K engine or a 3K engine. the car has: new oil new coolant new s/plugs new dizzy points/rotor old leads old coil So I'm gonna change my timing chain so that particular problem will be fixed hopefully. Then once I know what settings to adjust with ill do the rest. Also when I adjust my timing I'm thinking ill put it at 10 degrees, as the FAQ states if you run higher octane fuel (BP Ultimate) it will screw your timing if you havnt adjusted it for it.... Whats the deal? and one more thing whats valve timing, same thing as valve clearences? ignition timing is the timing of the dizzy so the correct spark is set at the right point?

Hey guys Well its time to change my timing chain and tentioner. My question is would my 1982 KE70 have a single or double row timing chain? The FAQ states some 4Ks had single, making me come to the conclusion that most are double... The FAQ also states that double is better. Makes sense... so whats the deal guys? Cheers Tally

do you mean fender mirrors? if so i run them they are good but not everyone likes them... personal preferance at the end of the day, + style your going for... also fender mirrors arnt exactly legal nowerdays... if your paint is good leave it...
