So far I'm thinking
28/36 DCD weber. MK1 GT cortina.
32/36 DGV weber. Cortina pinto 2 litre carby. I had one on my 3tc and didn't think much of it all. Really shit house on cold mornings.
Re-jetted 3k Aisan.
40mm DCOE's but that's $2,000 for the kit and tuning. Bit out of my budget.
Motor is a 5K, Mid range cam nothing extreme and extractors. Clean up of the exhaust ports too.
I was offered $8,000 during the week for it as is, No deal eddy. I should be getting it back this week with a RWC, Just need to fit the bumpers and a drivers door mirror before the RWC.
I also get my license back in a few weeks, WOOOO
I'm thinking about twin aisan carbies on my Ke11.
All throat sizes are 27/27 mm. 3K and 4K venturi diameters are:
* 21/24 mm for single carb
* 20/22 mm for twin carb motors (3K-B, 3K-D).
Jet sizes are:
* 0.99/1.75 mm for single carbs
* 0.84/1.40 mm for twin carbs.
Stolen from the FAQ.
So are the 3kb carbies the same as a single 3k carby not including the Jets and Venturis ?
I'm going to be spraying the inner guards and doors of my Ke11 soonish. I can't remember the flow of my father compressor but its small and direct drive so i don't think its much.
I'm running 0.8, Seems to be decent enough, But like you said it needs to be really clean other wise it splatters a lot or explodes if the steel is thin and there is rust on the other side.
When i was a 1st year a bloke attached a 24v jump starter to his tool box and told me to get him spanners, My fingers tingled and took me about 15 mins to work it out. The same bloke also swapped the leads around on my V6 corona, Ran like a sack of shit obviously.
