Hey Hey, I rebuilt the Aisan carby on my Ke11 and the accelerator pump plunger i got in the kit doesn't seal and my old one isnt sealing properly either but still better than the new one. Has any one had this problem and know where to get the correct plunger and seal ?

Getting the carby tuned tomorrow properly. Hopefully getting the exhaust leak fixed next week. The heater tap was leaking and when i removed it from the thermostat housing it fell apart in my hands so no more heater.

Radiator is back in and now just some carby tinkering and fix the exhaust leak.

Scored a 32/36 weber and a holley fuel pressure regulator today.

Monday for the radiator now, They stuffed up ordering the core.

I didn't get the radiator back today, They rang at lunch time and said lunch time tomorrow. I finish tafe early so i can get stuck into it for the afternoon.

I'm excited, I will be puting around on the weekend if I get the radiator back. I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow and be up early Friday for a drive.

I was quoted $516 for an ACL rebuild kit. Head gasket, all bearings, seals, pistons and a roll master double row timing chain kit with tensioner and guide.

Changed water pumps. Now registered too.

T18 = steering box Ke70 = rack and pinion. Cross members are not interchangeable unless you can cut the rack mounts off and re-weld them. Custom mounts ?

Also needs to have auto cooler inside it. Going to add a over flow bottle soon.

Nothing else on the car is red so it looks out of place to me. Gloss black looks like shit on standard rims too.

Hey Hey, I sent my radiator to a shop for a re-core. Both top and bottom tanks are corroded and have pin holes all through them. No one makes tanks anymore so they were going make me some and re-core for it for a sum of $800, Bit rich for me. Another place is getting tanks in and cutting them up and welding back together to fit the frame with a new 3 row core and charging me $385. Has any one else had their Ke1X or Ke2X radiator re-cored ? if so did you run into problems ? Des ;)

Who has rear seat bealts and who doesn't ? What year and month is the car also. 5/70 no rear belts.

I can do anytime on weekends. We be rollin in my ke11.
