Striping out the girlfriends ke20 so I'm taking parts. Ke20 front end Spare toyoglide Spare BW diff Sun visor Good rear bumper New 12 inch tyres Spare hubcaps Plans have changed slightly as well. Fit the visor. Rear venetian. Fit ke20 suspension and slam the front. Reset the rear springs at work. Fit new 12 inch tyres and run a thin red wall Fit the 5k with the weber New seat belts.

I hope that's cheap. But yeah a mates shop.

Hey Hey, Ke30 backing plates don't fit on ke11 stubs. The backing plates hit the ball joint, steering arm and start cutting into the lower control arm on full lock. It says in the FAQ it does fit ? Des.

That requires buying another diff. Not really interested in LSD's just better drums and stud pattern. It's costing me $300 to get the housing shortened, mounts attached and axles chopped.

What's the 5k like ?

Now cutting up an ae71 diff for the rear of my 11, shortening and swapping mounts over.

The front drums are rather scary in decent amounts rain. My back seat is faded across the top and it's just starting on the drivers seat, but it sits in the shed at home and under cover at work so it's doesn't worry me too much. What rev range does your 3k start to run out of power ? Mine seems to want to just keep going but I don't have a tacho.

Oh poo. Might shorten the 55/30 diff then. Good thing a mate can do this sort of thing for me. Ae71 hubs are the same as ke30 Ae71 backing plates have a different mounting pcd to the stub of a ke11. I'm running ae71 calipers, rotors, hubs, ke30 backing plates, ke30 brake lines and ke11 wheel bearings.

Yours is in much better condition than mine. I don't have rust but faded paint and dents anoy me a lot. I'm putting disc's on the front this week and changing to 114.3 pcd. I'm going to run a 185/60/r14 and I hope it won't rub. Are the tops of your seats faded at all ?

Yeah ive been talking to Curly about the rear axles of a ke30 into a ke11 BW, Same conclusion so I'm going to cut up a ke30/55 diff and fit the whole lot. All the ke11 gear will be bagged and tagged.

Felix, Did you use a ke20 front sway bar ? and to change the stud pattern will the ke30 hubs fit on ke10 stubs ?

Ive stretched the original leather seal over the end of a socket, Its been like that for 1 day now so I'm hoping it works.

Carby still has issues but I think I'm on top of it. It's booked in next Friday to get the exhaust leak fixed. I picked up a set of ke30 backing plates and hubs today from Curly, and he pointed me in the right direction to the source of my carby issues.
