  1. Hand brake adjustment can turn in to a prick of a job if you adjust it too much. After market rotors are better than factory, Factory warped easily. Lube the windows with silicone spray other wise the cables get tight and fray and f@$k the motor. LPG can be a major problem if it isnt serviced regularly. Service the auto as soon as you get it. Ford don't have a service interval for it and they can fail down the track, Some go for ever without a service and some don't. Ball joints and sway bar link pins can wear quickly. Take it to ford and ask what a PCM reflash is worth and if yours has the latest software.
  2. Thats a set back. The lobes are teflon coated arnt they ? Is that peeling off at all ?

    Fatty's Ke20

Started the rust on Saturday and there is more than what i originally thought. Both sills behind the front doors, Under the passengers door, In the passengers door, Front right hand chassis rail, Under the battery tray, Front left hand roof gutter, Front right hand radiator lower cross member. Left hand rear 1/4. Better get the welder out.

  11. Toyota still has them genuine but under a Ke30 listing. The looked in the Ke1X microfilms but they had lost the drive train films. There is only 5 left in Australia as i just ordered 8.

    Done

    Ready for Jambo ?
  19. I'm going to try. The front is straight with a small dent but the rear is fairly twisted with a little dent. I reckon i can get the dents out but i don't know about straighten them. Adjusted the front drums today and everything brake wise is ready to roll or stop either way. I had to drop the gearbox cross member to lower the box enough to get my hand to the linkages so i could remove parts to try and match up 2 bushes. Ae71 3 speed auto bushes have the right inside diameter but the outside diameter is too big by about 3mm.
  20. Thermo fan is fitted and working off a micro switch.
  21. Yes. I bought a micro toggle switch for the thermo fan today, I found a nice spot hidden under the dash to mount it out of the way. Also hiding the wiring too. Ordered an electronic distributor too.
  22. I rebuilt the 3K carby today, Runs well. Bought a 10 inch thermo fan, Just need to finish of making the 4 mounting brackets and wiring. Need to get a new exhaust system as the pipe that goes into the manifold is rusted out and leaks. Bought a bottle of rust converter, The car has 1 spot of suraface rust on the bottom of the front valance panel.

    Fatty's Ke20

I wanted to see how long it took people to notice.
  24. The rubber insulators are in perfect condition. The problem was a broken wire in the harness where it split into two wires. Work well now.
