  3. In Oz, when you first get your license, you get a "P" (for Probation I think) license, which imposes some restrictions on what you can and can't do. Certain states require you to display a "P" Plate on your car if you have a P license.

  11. Thanks you guys. I needed a little encouragement after botching too many shots that QRC weekend... Sorry Nick, I don't remember taking any photos of your car. That there is the practically the full take from the day. Next time, if you would like a photo, just ask. That goes for anyone. I wanted to get a shot of each rollaclub car, but the crowds were not conducive to getting it done in a systematic way, so I got lazy and forgot about it after a while.

  14. Damn, and here I thought we would talking about asking a lump of metal some really confusing questions.
  15. That's correct. USB is host driven architecture. Xfers actually need CPU, and the more devices you have, the less each individual device gets. From memory, I'm not sure if USB supports priority for devices, but I'd guess mice would get rather low bandwidth. Now, Firewire, on the other hand, is driven by hardware... and you're supposed to get more consistent throughput as well, even thought the size of the pipe is slightly narrower than USB2.
  16. 10th go? Holy crap... you must not drink coffee or summink.
