  1. And where would we find a KE74? and what body shape is it?
  2. There is a difference in bore size between the 4K and 5K. The 4K has a bore of 75mm where as the 5K is 80.5mm. Don't really know how much of a difference this will make, but I just I would point this out
  3. Ha!!! Try driving in Victoria. The coppers will pull you over for the hell of it!
  4. I've seen something very similar on KE70.com. Except it was a KE70
  5. As far as I know, he's out and back at work, so he must be doing alright. He still owes us a beer for saving his arse
  6. I thought it went :- KE10's had the K engine (1077cc) KE20/30/50's had the 3K engine (1166cc) and the KE70 had the 4K (1290cc) at least I think thats the way it goes
  7. My brother used to have a HJ Kingswood, ex-stock car 253, M20, and Chev 10 bolt diff. He had that wound off the clock. Estimated at about 220 kph and he said still had a bit of throttle left but it was a bit too floaty. And yet it felt like we were cruising. But I guess that what happens driving in the Territory
  8. Just get bigger rims. Chuck some 17's under it
  9. Since I drive a banged up daily, about the only time its gets washed is when it rains. I have washed it once in the last year, and that was at a DIY car wash and I used the built in polish. I was worried that washing all the dirt and crap off it would make it fall apart as I thought that the dirt was holding the car together. I was wrong

  14. I hope nobody has forgotten. So who is turning up, I know I am, and Chester i as well. Anyone else?
  15. I want pics. Canberra car styling has a front chin. LINK And a VX/VY? SS rear spoiler fit on. Mine's got one
  16. I know of Region Leaders without rolla's, so if you ticked us off for not having one, we would also have to do something about these other people's
  17. Now that was a stupid thing to do. Why would you want to do a thing a thing like that?
  18. What a really strange night we had last night. Amy and I got bored so we went for a drive. No where in particular, just around. Ended up heading toward Tharwa, but the bridge is closed. But I kept driving in that direction anyway. As we were getting closer to the road closure, there was signs saying road closed ahead, but I wanted to have a look down that way. Noticed some tail lights of a parked car. Thought that was a bit strange at that hour, (nearly 10:30). Was about to turn around, when i noticed the road barriers were scattered all over the place, so I decided to check it out. Turns out the car had crashed through the barriers. Couldn't see anyone in the front seats, and I was about to look elsewhere for any sign of life when Amy found him in the back seat. Semi-conscious, and not speaking too well. Amy hands me the phone to ring the ambo. Amy keeps talking to him the whole time. Just to keep him awake, which probably kept him alive. The bottom of his sternum (breastplate) is about 2 inches lower than it should be. Amy went with him in the ambo, I stayed back to answer questions from the police. Then I when to the hospital to see how he was, and to get Amy. Answered more questions, gave them my details, etc. Amy did a really good job of keeping him awake and talking. Both the coppers and ambo's were happy with us that we called it in and helped as much as could. I think the main thing that saved his life was the air-bags. If it wasn't for them, we would've found a body.
  19. Could always check this out link
  20. I'd like to send out a HUGE thanks to Steve for making my car able to stop again. No more grinding. Or having to use the handbrake in the wet. That was fun! Well not really, it was a little scary. The tail nearly overtook me a couple of time. Nearly. So, thank you Steve. Also, I managed to get my hands on the extractors and the box of random goodies. All for the total price of ZILCH. Haha, the bloke wanted to get rid of it all, so he just gave it to me. If I had the room, I would've grabbed the 5K as well. Not that I need it. Chester_fb grabbed that, along with a gearbox, flywheel, clutch, spare head, and the pushrods in the jar. He got a really good price on that well. A 6 pack!!! Talk about a deal. Well, thats it for now.
  21. So, your trying to say that a F-150 weighs less a commodore? WTF
  22. I found this and thought everyone here could find this useful Australian Design Rules
