  1. By the look of that rear-end, he let you off very lightly...
  2. Indeed looks nice! How bad is the scrub in the front?? :hmm:
  3. Spotted brown E7 wagon cruising along wynum road at Balmoral yesterday. Looked schmick.. anyone on here? :hmm:
  4. Nice bar indicators.... :)
  5. The adhesion spray or whatever its called makes the difference between the average and the longer lasting finishes... :lolcry:
  6. I assume its done the same a the E7 pano's therefore The 'plates' are all part of the outer shell, so if you want windows there you'll have to cut the shell then get the windows and rubbers made up to fit.... I'd say a very expensive mod to do to a rare model... but would make it unique I guess
  7. Spotted.. Clean yellow AE cruising down my street in Balmoral on sunday a bit after mid-day, Pretty sure its a local from just down the road... don't know if they're on here?? :y:
  8. Where's the action serries..?
  9. Have a look at the window rubber at the base of the window, you can see a little steel popper sticking out on the left hand side... It would actually be drilled in through the door but just couldnt work out what to call that piece on the door... Push down and door opens...
  10. Just buy or make some spacers for your tailgate, If the cover is the same flimsy particle board $hit as I have in my pano then you might want to make a new one thats a bit more solid... (Especially to hold 6x9's in place when the boot slams down, else you'll find em sitting on the front dash board As for the door trims I just cut the pockets off my last one..
  11. Yeah I figured there was a little more than 4k powah in the Spirit...very nice ride yourself. Had my boss in the car, he thinks the rolla is the biggest joke out... just can't explain to some people :D Made it all the way up to T-Bar and Back though, so I was stoked! Good to finally start seeing some of the rolla community!! :locked:
  12. FCK.... 2 overrated Rollas :D
  13. Gonna try to make it to this... I reckon I've got a good chance of taking out the most Granny-Spec vehicle there! Just look for the slow yellow pie-van at the back of the line.. :D

  17. Hey All, We'll my radiator is shagged in my KE Panel Van and I have to fix it up as a last little herdle to get it on the road. I've noticed there are some little differences between the panel van radiators and the sedans (not sure about the wagons). Anyway I reckon its gonna cost a heap to get my 26y.o. radiator redone so my question is; Whether you can replace it with a standard KE sedan radiator instead, and if anyone has done this? The Panel van radiator seems to be smaller than the sedan ones and has a wide mounting plate welded on the sides to make it fit the radiator support mounting points, this makes me think that a standard sedan one will fit the rad support mount points perfect? If someone could measure up their radiator or mounting points, it would be greatly appreciated Extra Info - The radiator is for a manual, and It is the one that you bolt the plastic shroud up to not the one with the little metal shroud welded on... As I mentioned this is the last thing I need to do to get the roadworthy, help bring another Rolla Pie-Van back on the road!! Cheers :n: Chris
  18. Had this discussion with a lot of people when I used to have a dumped Lux and was looking for some, if the ones your looking at are the inserts you place under the bead of the tyre then re-inflate, I don't hink there much chop for everyday and highway driving, not saying they wont last but just don't think that they'd be as good as what Davros is suggesting, I have seen that type as well done be the tyre guys and looks much better.. Just hard to find in QLD...
  19. Agreed, chuck up a pic incase any of us see it.. Here's hoping for a safe return..
  20. Anyone know who owns the van?
  21. Me thinks you have two vehicles that would look quite good on show!! Shame you can't drive both..
  22. :o Thats Dedication :P
  23. Have to agree with 7shades, Nu-finish is a good cheap one for getting out scratches and on old faded paint Anything meguiars is top quality, a little $$ though.. Also if ya can get your hands on a propper buff for an hour or so, will transform a faded paint job, my mates a panel beater and the buffs they have made a big difference...
