  1. to get into the gold cart you have to do under 37.#something around the lakeside course the qualifying time for gold cart on the other track i ran on last night was 36.# and myself and huy were fastest on the day with 37.9 and 38.1 respectively so you'd have to be pretty quick to get into the gold one...

  13. hey just a quick lazy stupid question all the engines i have set clearances on in the past have either been overhead cam with direct bucket/shim actuation *OR* pushrod with hydraulic lifters is the 3T hydraulic lifters or solid ones? if it's solid lifters like earlier k engines, how do you adjust the valve clearance/lash? is there a threaded adjustment where the pushrod meets the rocker? or do you pull the lifter out and twig with it somehow? or something different? too cold outside to go have a look and I'm sick

  18. hi all, I'm going to stick an engine in an old corolla this weekend i have the choice of either a 2T or 3T engine , both stock both sitting on my garage floor ready to go which one should i use? i know the first thought of all concerned will be that 3T = 1770cc therefore must be better but i have heard a lot of people say that the 3T is a bucket of ass with the 3K and 4K the smaller 1200 made more gross hp from toyota specs possibly because although the 4K was 1300 the emmissions controls killed it? egr, air injection, lower compression, conservative cam timing or a combination of the above for instance? looking for real world advice, who reckons the 2T would be the go? why? who reckons the 3T would be the go? why?
  19. scrubbing has nothing to do with what diameter the wheels are has to do with offset, width and overall diameter
  20. start by looking at mz and vz type engines good luck, if you need to ask what to do you probably will find this project a bit beyond you
