no wasnt very noticable. lol have fun with the files.... i went and brought alluminium blades for the jigsaw and cut out the middle bit then brought some "special" alluminium tips for the end of the drill/die grinder and ground out the rest then got sand paper to make it nice and smooooth that alone took me 2 hours all up!

yeah i have done this, not alot performance wise well noticeable, just the induction noise seemed louder so...... do it haha

hey, outta interest what size are those centrelines and what size tyres have you got on the back?? My centrelines scrub with 225/60/13 lol :P cheers

yeah the hydraulic and diff locker is the best mix for motorkhana :) Ive put the xt130 LCA's in but thinking of going sigma for that bit more. can't say ive had much trouble with under steer so far because I'm usually sideways :( Yeah i got the clutch cylinder from a bently for the handbrake and made a temporary bracket off the standard hand brake, but i keep on getting air in the system, everything is air tight no leaks but my mate tells me to change the rear brake cyclinders as they are probably worn and are sucking air in :hmm: Cheers

hey, just wanting to know the diameter of standard SOHC (4a-c) front springs? Preferably the inside diameter. Changing springs to something stiffer and i have a few springs liying around the joint! Need to know A.S.A.P Cheers Corey

long time no update not thats theres alot to anyway :), only really bought a dildo gear knob and bought some wheels off ae86dc last nite picked em up today, they are 13x6 centre lines +8 offset (need polishing) and 14x6 jelly/kidney beans with unknown offset. Also over the last couple of races the 4k is disliking my oil and spitting it out.... so i thought either finally do 18rg conversion or another 4k, in the next 2 or 3 weeks I'm picking up the 18rg HOPEFULLY and see how we go from there. all goes down to how stiff you want your ride. i have 3 sets for the front of my ke70 and they are falcon AU which are a bit stiffer than standard, then some pedders xr6 Falcon EF which are stiffer again then for the stiffest i have king springs outta a Falcon XF. also chuck some new shocker inserts in while your at it. then for the rear i have standard front springs that i cut 2 coils off.... this is all for my rally car. and handles very well, but with that i have shorter steering arms and xt130 lower control arms. also could look into going twin swaybars but not to sure on how legal or illegal they are. + all my springs have been cut Cheers

hey, well the old 4k decided it would turn the oil pressure light on at me at the bendigo show demo :D so its obviously a little tired lol, ive got a spare motor I'm guna "do up" and wondering what piston ring brands people have used or what brands i should stay away from?? I'm looking at going ACL "PROSEAL"!! any ideas would be handy. Cheers

lol i had the same problem... well first you take out the little corolla sign/logo in the middle with a screwdriver, then undo the nut behind that but not completely then just reef the shit outta it until it comes lose then take nut off and steering wheel and presto! Cheers

go 4k chuck a 32/36 weber/holley and they go farely hard!! got a movie of my ke70 (4k) with a 32/36 holley, shitty nokia quailty but you get the point!

as in idling or before i started it? it was sitting there idling for about 1 or 2 minutes and sat there for 2 weeks before we started it! Cheers

hey, ive got a ae82 sohc and when it idles it has ALOT of condensation out of the exhaust so is this a normal thing or is something wrong/broken??
