thinking of putting AE86 springs in bubba (TE72) did a search, found a good topic, but it stalled before the question was answered the springs are huge!!, close to 5" around do you guys think they will fit?

my g/f and i have ben seriously talking 'bout gettin' hitched..... honeymoon locations have been discussed and australia is the winning choice. i figure brisbane 'cause most of you guys seem to be from there. i don't call many "friend", but i do consider nick, fook, rob, jamie, teddy...others maybe to be friend. so how about it? we come out there, you can show us where the best places are.... it wouldn't be for at least a year :P

oh, ya.....i just went for a drive in bubba...... he is now the OFFICIAL dirt drift whore..... got some major carb issues, but i just tap the brake and he's sideways, perfectly controllable, just like he was on marbles understeers like hell on the road, though

i usually tap the hole (where the plug goes) with the back of my ratchet before putting them back in, have never had a leak if you are not running a pcv valve it will tend to leak too as the internal pressure has farther to go and will just find the path of least resistance..... 2c

the 82 TE72 had a 3.58, i now do 80 MPH @ 3,800....so i am happy....no power up hills, especially with the a/c on, but i have already noticed a 2mpg increase in milage the te38 i just found has 3.75's in it......

with all the horsepower escaping out the tailpipe; you figure someone would come up with a cap or at least a restrictor

most of these guys are from austrailia and new zealand (when they're not boinking sheep) i'm in oklahoma....lemme know if you ever want to sell that 15 or i gotta te72 i can trade you, it would be better for autocross than a 10 series

i had this problem with daisy....she came with 4.44's stock, i put in 4.22's, then put in a starlet kp61 diff and got 3.20's no american starlet had an lsd, or 2.XX ratio. but they are really weak. i went through about 4 of them doing tire burnouts until they popped. i finally switched up to a te28 rear with 4.10's and just swapped to 3.58's 2 days ago. i couldn't be happier

i,ve got a slight oil leak that i thought was coming from the head in the galley area. turned out to be a bad o-ring on the dizzy

ok got the job done.....finally! don't notice any increase/decrease in power, just that bubba now runs outta engine a lot sooner
