i mounted my ecu upright (like a book in a bookshelf) in between the fuse panel and the steering column....but mine left hand drive.....

when i take a corner HARD in daisy it will lift the inside wheel off the ground 4" or more, then the outside wheel will break traction and i either do a good job of drifting, or i lose it and spin off into the ditch this has gotta be fixed i am running stock starlet (kp61) struts and stock cut springs i didtched the transverse leaf long ago. i just bid on some adjustable coils on ebay can anyone tell me what the stock spring rate was for a kp61? and wtf does that mean

gotcha. ok when i did the efi in daisy, i ran the fuel return line back to the tank using the charcoal canister vapor line. (don't know what kind of emissions equipment you guys have). the wiring harness was easy; the 1983 starlet efi was a factory add-on, i just snatched the efi harness, wired up the main relay, hooked up +12v, ign, start, ground, and a/c. i used the in-line starlet fuel pump, but i don't know how well my feed is as the line is so small and THERE IS NO SUMP; i go around corners hard with less than 1/4 tank and it will starve. i don't know much about the later corollas, but i don't see why the rear axle wont fit.

ok, lately daisy has not been starting so well. power also seems kinda down. i have been in too much pain to do too much, but i went to the chiropractor today. i feel great!! ok so i started checking things she used to fire up (warm) with a touch of a key. last couple of weeks it'll crank and crank then fire when the key is released. so i checked to fuel pump relays. pump ran when running, but not when starting. hooked pump up directly to 12v and fires right off, still couldn't find anything wrong. wiring harness? No. i swapped computers and suddenly it was working. bad ecu? maybe. then i checked timing. now i have never owned a timing light, i usually set it by ear, and i have never had the specs for the 4KE. my starlet book says 4kc is 8*btdc. my old 3kc owners manual says 5*btdc. well, i got my first timing light for christmas so i tore it from it wrapping and checked it......5*btdc.....not a bad guess. i set it at 8* then set the idle. well, now power is awesome, i can't wait to get to the g/friends (lower altitude) to feel it out..... it's all about the tuning i guess... :)

well i paid $80 usd which is around $110 aud?i don't think the shipping could be over $90usd.....i think i only paid 12bucks shipping it really did make a difference though p.s. the shiny ones would NEVER work over here; we have a steering box to contend with

maybe a little offtopic, BUT did they ever make a efi setup for the 2t/3t from the factory if so, i'll ditch my k engine in a heartbeat

so what does it mean when my tires are like this; \ / full lock? axis inclination? what setting would best help me stay stable in the wind?
