  1. tried stamping on the accelerator pedal to make sure the linkage hasn't stuck open. Used to happen with the first set of twins I fitted.
  2. mainly self tappers I think and a few 8mm nuts. its been a while though.......
  3. depends on condition, how complete they are and who you know ;). $0 to $300+
  4. A guy locally used to rally a civic with quad bike carbs. He used a header tank filled via the pump to gravity feed the carbs. Guess there had to be a return line back to the tank as well. Used to go pretty well.
  5. guessing no way for the back seat, to wide. Anything can be made to fit though if you are prepared to cut them up. Same with the front - I had a set of aftermarket recliners I found in a truck in my KE20.
  6. ouch - they use two bricks to do that round here!!
  7. gotta know the right peoples secrets.........:)
  8. 2ish and 16 months - 3 kids in two and a half years :) must get a TV. Now if I can sell that to the missus........
  9. Well its finally happened, baby number three has arrived safely on Thursday. Little Jesse is doing well. So its time to get ready for some sleepless nights again.
  10. Enjoy the weekend guys. New bubs has arrived so I am kinda busy at the moment :)
  11. had something similar with my 5k. Rattled, thought it had a cracked piston on no. 3, so it was stripped for a rebuild. Only nothing wrong with piston no. three :hmm: Had a coulple of engine rebuilders check it out but nothing wrong. Did notice though, that the inlet manifold was cracked on that cylinder. We think that this may have been causing the noise.
  12. school teacher, fish and chip cook, shade sail installer (in the past), foundry worker (in the past), etc etc
  13. Stock KE20 diff held up with 205's doing bitumen motorkhanas ok.
  14. It was guttless, wouldn't rev properly. The cam really woke it up though......
  15. Did this to a girlfriends KE20 and thought it was a backwards move............. until the big cam, worked head etc went on. Then it was 8/
  16. Doesn't help much, but 225's went under my KE35 after the lip was bashed out of the way. With the right offset bigger would of been possible as there was plenty of clearence on the inside.
  17. 205/60/13's will go under easily with a KE20 diff on RX7 alloys
  18. not a painter either - but drying time will alter the paint colour. maybe one day was more humid than the other....
  19. 4AGE might be ok if a Damiler with a 350 chev was allowed to run in Targa......... Contact Octagon if you are really interested. Why not volunteer to be an official to get an idea what it is all about before commiting big bucks.
  20. The missus managed to rip the entire housing out of the family truckster. Best one Ive seen was at an event. Corolla diff went bang and spat teeth out of the back of the housing. Corolla still drove though, so tap in metal around holes, seal with silastic and refill with oil. Then thrash the living shit out of Corolla until it finally stopped. Locking up back wheels at speed would be scary. Lucky everyone is in one piece and are around to tell the tale.
  21. Reading the application instructions topgear and there seems one perfect applicant.......... REDWARF So come on all you people in QLD, get his arse into gear and get him to apply.
  22. I know you could stuff 225/60/13's under the back of a ke35 if you rolled the lip over.
  23. Yet I hade no issues with 205/60/13's. Depends on your rims.
  24. clicky Just a short test to determine your basic mechanical aptitude. Just passed with 84% :P
  25. If it works for you now, why go lower. It will stuff up your suspension settings and you will be slower. It happened to me when I went to low.
