today i had a brain lapse driving past a speed camera, doing 40mph (64kmh) and thinking i was doing 60kmh. i really need a km/h speedo. oh and going to autosalon today i did not see any corollas at all. not even a token AE86.

i really liked it. i think as it was there first show they tried to cram in as much stuff as they could, just so that people might find something that they liked. now down to business, who is australian stig? he looked short to me. i was thinking either Grant Denyer or Jason Bargwana. any thoughts?

this is off topic but... is that a standard corolla colour? i have never seen anything like it. it seems like one of those crazy 70's colours that would have been an option but was rarely asked for. it's a great colour. :yes:

i run a whiteline 16mm in the back of my ke20, it has improved the handling no end. i didn't really do much research on it, it just came up cheap on ebay.

first off this is not a go at you redwarf. what grinds my gears is when people acting like complete tools wreck it for the rest of us. i'm on my p plates and have been on them for 4 months now. i get all these shitty looks from people i don't even know when pull up anywhere. i have never weaved in and out of traffic, i have never sped, i have never used my phone whilst driving. i always give a thank you wave if someone lets me in, i always make room if someone wants to merge. it is the small minority of tools that get us all labeled hoons. it really drives my up the wall. i just want people to see it from my side. i have been brought up on the idea that your license is a privilege not a right. it may just be that my up-bringing (father owning 2 Rolls-Royce's) has made me an anomaly of of a p plater (ie. not a cock). please know there are good ones out there and we don't like being associated with the others. just my 2c

or change driving style, i run silverstone firefoxes on my ke20 with the standard 12X4 rims. they will understeer if you let them. i have learnt to get the weight transfer over the front and then steer. and only to accelerate when in a straight line. also i have put a 16mm sway bar in the back of my car, best investment i have made.

yeh man looks great. can't wait to see it all back together. this will be an epic ke70 if it's half as cool as your s14. are you going to keep it all white?

i was tempted to buy these when i saw they were available... i then scrolled down and saw the cost for them! i decided not to buy as they cost more than i purchased the whole car for. good to see they went to a good home.

wow, i just spent 3 hours reading this whole thread. i always say to my friends that someone should do a full time attack style ke70 just to show what they are capable of. i love the style of the two door ke70, pity we didn't get it here in oz. keep up the good work. :)

got my L's first go. got my P's first go but with 2 stalls. the instructor said i was lucky to pass. i was just happy i got in before the new Victorian plate laws came in. so now i'm only on them for 3 years not 4.

how do you use the back seats with no rear doors?

i've got a set of these painted-on white walls on my 20 and so far as i can tell all they do is shave/rub off the raised lettering so that they have a flat surface to paint on. there appears no cutting into the side wall at all.
