ok so engine+ driveline is all bolted in.. intake manifold is 100%finished... put all vacuum fittings in had it leak tested shot peened and painted in pacemaker blue to match the extractors. oil relocation kit finished off. extractors to catconverter section done and painted. cat to ressy to diff bend is tacked up get it back tmozzle. only got the rear muffler left to mount.. all pacemaker performance gear 2 &1/4" mandrel bent system.. still a bit of wiring stuffs to go and still finalising the fuel system. i changed my mind about where it was mounted so i basically had to start again. slowly getting there..

lovin it dude... looking very clean and respectable... no plans to lower it more i hopes

Hey bit of an update. Gearbox is all finalised. Bolted to the motor clutch in etc. Starter is on. Also the tailshaft is done. Brand new yolk and uni joint by hardi spicer. Engine mounts finalised. Tonight the driveline will all be bolted in for the last time. Fuel system is 90% done same with wiring so once this stuff is all finalised i can fire it up. Gettin excited but its running overtime unfortunately.

So a lot has happened but not much to show for it. Lots of time on small details. Fuel system complete motor mounts dizzy mounts finalised painted the motor and ancillaries wiring in the car is just about finished. And i've acquired an ae71 front yolk to sort out my tailshaft. And tonight i got a pair of 15mm bolt on spacers for the front and a pair of 30 mm for the rear.

so today i got a few things done... mounted the radsiator... turns out its a ford mondeo radiator and thermo setup also did the hydraulic clutch conversion... also made up the hard fuel lines for my fuel system in the back of the car... will be getting some hose clamps and gear tomorrow so i can mount everything fuel related!

can't relly use 6mm staples will go through the other side as he's only using the original boards... they are really thin.

will have to get em off ya

Ok so not alot has happened. Some changes are happening at the workshop so its setting things back a little. Got my wiring loom last week... So thats ready to go in. Have organised jono to install it all for me. Also extractors are all tacked together and the engine mounts have been redone. So now i have the small stuff to do to the engine. Progress will move along quickly now as i now have a bit less than 4 weeks to go.

How are they different? In previous post you said h4 conversion but they already have h4 in them stock.

Tomorrow night is the night. Going to pick the car up straight after work and get cracking. I'm very happy with the way its looking except for the front fenders. I can't get them right... I think i need to shrink the metal in a spot or two. But i'll paint it all and if it stands out then i'll redo them. Apart from that its sexy. Will throw some pics up either tomorrow night or sat.

f@$k me another box perhaps you driving style mixed with the puk clutch is killing it. Normal clutch probs won't mash it as quick.

Cheers man. Well the door guard and bonnet are all pretty good not much work left in em. So this wkend will be the final surface prime. And next wkend its booked in to get painted stoked!

Ok so bit of a progress update. Been workin on it every night after work. Gettin tired but its gettin painted wkend after next so i'm bookin along to get it ready. I've been doing only body work and its wearing thin. So over the wkend did more sanding bog work and primeing. Funny how when you think its all good you gloss it up and see more imperfections. Well anyway. I only have 1 fender 1door and a bonnet left to get ready for surface primer. Everything else is ready to go and straight. Also not going with voodoo anymore. Cos of my work and the fallout it'll end up looking shit cos its dark so i'm going with atomic same colour as slo030's wagon but i have the paint and my 55 was the same colour. And being so bright it won't show up the shit from work.

what happened to you ryan? on he way back... pace wasn't that fast?

last nights progress. this side sanded including the doors. dark patches need attention so overall pretty good. shaved boot lock bit of a pain because the panel curves. the door is finished.. won't be working on it again till thrusday but i have thrusday all day friday sat and sunday.. aim is to have the bodywork finished and i have a spray booth organised for end of jan/early feb.
