  1. It was a case of 5k's were few and far between at the time and this boat anchor was lying around. I'm really regretting doin this now, i'm already having problems. Bloody welsh plug has given up the ghost and its leaking like a bitch :abuse: . So i'm gunna atempt to change that with the engine in there. And yes i know i should have done it before hand but i was in a rush. Makes me paranoid driving this now it has taken the fun out of driving a corolla. Half thinking of converting it back or just off loading it now. Winge winge f****n winge :owned:.
  2. Yeah i don't bother with autobarn, i went there yesterday to get plugs and leads and was served by an absolute deadshit. I ordered a set thru bursons, will be here monday.
  3. Thankyou :nervous:
  4. Where do i get a lowering block kit for my rolla?. I tried pedders and autobarn but neither have them. I can't be stuffed flipping springs this time.
  5. Check link.
  6. Its a 78 ke30. The radiator crossbrace was welded in, i just drilled the welds out. All up it took about 8 months, but of actual work it was 2 full weekends. I intend on getting a hoppers stoppers brake upgrade next and some coilovers(sleeve kit) for the front. I'm gunna replace all the bushes and swaybar eventually. I didnt think about how nose heavy it was gunna be before i did it, kinda wish i'd chosen something else now, oh well. It's using the standard diff for now(welded) and a standard corolla tailshaft shortened 3 inches.
  7. Long time no update. Well the little 3k decided to let go quite a while ago and i was undecided as to how to re-power the rolla. Then a mate made a suggestion that he had a spare driveline lying around that we could use so away we went. And yes i know its been done before but anyway. Pics: Before: After: I will get a few more pics up today or tomorrow.
  8. I've got the engine situation covered, definitely not slow. :nervous:
  9. This i am well aware of as i have an ms65 and an ms55 sitting in my shed, and corona rims are exactly what i'm gunna use.
  10. Hahaha not likely :D
  11. Just wondering what you guys think about the old school look on a ke30. You know, whitewalls hubcaps, venetian etc, etc. I have some overrated ms65 hubcaps i would love to put on my 30 but dunno if it will suit it.
  12. Theres a joint here in geelong called west coast panel imports. i'm going to get a new ke55 bonnet off them.
  13. More pics!!!!! Btw who owns that blue rt104 corona?
  14. Geez take a breath man!
  15. Woopsy my bad. I thought i'd seen a thread like it.
  16. Yellow ke30 2 door in the movie A Scanner Darkly.
  17. Anyone seen any corollas on the screen?. i was watching this movie today called A Scanner Darkly with Keanu Reeves, and theres a yellow ke30 2 door in it.
  18. Any updates on this?
  19. Our ae71 has a drain plug.
  20. I want to put rack & pinion steering in my ke30 and just wanna know what other people have used and how they went about it. I have an ae71 steering rack i can use, just need to know if i have to shorten anything Any tips will be appreciated. Cheers, Eddie.
  21. You could romp it in under a grand. Your obviously not worried about tuning the computer so u wont be able to run more than 4-5 pounds. So just get a turbo off an rb25 for $450, you can obviously weld so whip up a passenger side exhaust manifold and crossover pipe from the drivers side, adapt that to your current exhaust, make an intake pipe and there you have it. You wouldnt need an intercooler on such low boost, and it would sound a hell of a lot better than what i presume your gunna use which is a toyota blower. On v6's they sound like turd. And if you wanted more boost a custom tune for your standard computer would only set you back 6-800 depending on who you go to. It would be the way to go i reckon.
  22. *cough* TURBO! *cough*
  23. Man that first vid sounds like u got a blower or something on it, nice whip by the way.
  24. No more nailing it in the wet at speeds now. Not to pour salt in the wound, but you should get a holden v8 throttle body and bolt on now, slightly bigger. :D . A corvette piston in your auto will make it slam into second too!. I'll apologise in advance if this causes anymore damage. :hmm:
  25. Overpowered corollas + wet weather = Change of jocks! Hahahahaha. I hope it didnt do too much damage. How are your rims?
