  1. Woops, i shoulda kept my mouth shut. :D
  2. You just take it out. You can clearly see the black bit of plastic between the plenum and the 90 degree bend, thats the face of the bellmouth. Where the 90 degree bend meets the plenum, there are 3 bolts to undo, undo them slide the throttle body and bend out of the way and pull the bellmouth out. Making sure you don't damage the gaskets either side of the bellmouth. then once you have it out, put it back together. Shouldn't take longer than 30 mins to do it. here are the top 2 you have to undo and there is one underneath.
  3. Get what off a vn mate?
  4. It will never fit, he's using the standard fan by the looks.
  5. This one: It is the factory power restrictor. The series 1 never had it but holden revised the set up coz old grannies were shitting themselves coz the engine was too responsive. So they added this peice of shit to dull it down a bit.

  15. I replaced the fluids in the auto less than 3 months ago and it was still doing it. I'd say its just rooted. I will send it to a brake specialist to get checked out i guess.
  16. Hi all. Firstly, my missus has been complaining that the brake pedal on her 71 sometimes goes almost to the floor then the next time its nice and firm, any ideas?. Secondly, the auto in this thing nearly takes your head off when it changes into second gear. Is this normal? it would be ok if it was worked but it is dead stock. :) Any ideas would be appreciated.

  19. It is rego'd yes but not engineered. He doesn't drive it on the street, rego is purely to get it into the springnats and other car shows that require rego'd vehicles.
