Does anyone know the name and/or paint code for this colour? This was my old rolla and I'd like to paint my current one the same colour. Done heaps of interweb searching but no mention of an orange (probably not even what it's called). Thanks in advance.

I know you sold this but, Do you happen to remember the pin size for the lowering blocks? And how'd you go finding a tailgate handle? I need one for my ute.

Yeah either Nathan Allen - CMEFRY or Mick Brasher - ULEGAL can lay claim to that title, but seeing as though nath's selling his i'd say brashers got it. Just my 2 cents :harhar:

Can you still buy mechanical fuel pumps for k motors anymore?

I'm in the process of doing this at the moment. The old glide was cactus so i'm putting a 4 speed from my other ke10 in it. I can so far tell ya the gearbox bellhousing bolts are an absolute prick to get to with the engine in but it will be so much better to drive in my opinion. Going by those diff ratio's i might swap diffs too. 2k is a bit rich for a gearbox rebuild for a little rolla isn't it?

They were a clearance type deal that's why they were 50 bucks.

Has anyone come across one of those 50 dollar clutches to suit a k motor from supercheap? I'm chasing one for my ke10.

Yeah i'm gunna drive the arse off it. This one will cop whitewalls venetians and some slammage, but other than that, i'm gunna use it as a daily.

Hey guys thought i better get a rides thread up for this one. She's ratty as, but that's the way i like it. The interior was fingered, so i put all the red interior from the other 10 in it. Just gotta re-do the front brakes and chuck some new tyres on it and it should be almost ready for a roady. Gotta sort out the gearbox too, she hardly moves under power due to the fact that the toyoglides oil pan's been leaking and it's got next to no oil in it. I'l put a new gasket on the oil pan and fill it up and see if that works, if it doesn't i've always got the 4 speed sitting there for it. Had to be done.... Haven't put the other seat in yet, it needs re trimming.

Well i'm not gunna say too much for now, don't wanna give too much away, but the direction for this one has changed. I got another 10 for a daily that i will put a rides post up about soon enough, so the black one will now serve another purpose :yes:

Where would i get a toyoglide pan gasket from? Bursons? And how much oil do they take?

Engine mounts aren't even remotely close to being the same and commodore crossmember is useless. Don't need a custom tailshaft, just shorten the standard corolla auto one around 3 inches (they are the same spline). I used standard corolla gearbox crossmember with elongated holes. Note: a large hammer will have to be used in the gearbox tunnel to clear the pan, and i used a standard diff, only broke 1 axle in the whole 3 years i had it. hope this clarifies things. On a side note, this topic has been covered many, many times and a quick search would have netted you the information your after.

Decided to trash the whole front setup and go with later model front suspension and steering. Don't know how i'm going to do it yet or how well it will work but the standard stuff is rubbish.

Yeah there's a big hole there but it has a backing plate or it's part of the firewall, so i'll just have to drill it out. Cheers for your help bud.
