I forgot to say, the drivers door is pretty screwed, still opens and closes but it would need another one, and the only rust i could see was in the lower right front quater. but someone should save it, i'd hate to see it wrecked.

I was looking for a part for my brake caliper and found these. Was gunna get the rolla but if i get one more i'll get castrated. :P (only wanted 500 too.)

I was changing the brake pads on the 30 today and broke a locating wire inside the caliper, so off to the wreckers i go. the guy said ther was a ke30 out in the yard so off i went. Went to get the part i needed....DIFFERENT!. I know this is very ignorant of me as i can recall reading several threads on how they were different but i simply never took any notice. Now, as i have a ke10 that needs disc brakes i will put the ke30 ones on it, but are the 55 ones a direct bolt in affair for a ke30?. they look like they are, the only thing that may be different is the brake hoses. Any help would be appreciated. (p.s. sorry to ramble on :P )

Damn intake manifold was missing 2 bolts, sucking too much air. Put 2 in and it runs beautiful!

Haven't found an engine yet, but i've decided that once i can get my bitch ass ke30 to idle i will drive it there and use it. i'm keen as mustard so i'll be trying to get it done asap. stay tuned.

Ok i know sweet f all about carbied cars, my ke 30 is auto and the bitch just wont idle. and when i'm driving it its got this weird noise at higher revs like a knock or something. Anyone got any ideas? i tried idling it up but it just died in the ass again.

don't let anyone put you off man, if thats what you want then i say go for it!. There is a sprinter in melbourne with a 1uz in it and its engineered, and i'm pretty sure there were no firewall mods either. They share the same engine bay so it should be a piece of piss. See how ya go.

I am pretty certain it will be, depending on the width you require. He owns a performance workshop and also owns a 550hp blown vy clubsport, so he gets the parts cheap. Trying to organise a dummy engine so he can get started, but some people are askin $100 for ones that are f@$ked so untill i get him one i can shed little light on the subject. i have 2 but they are both in cars, any one in victoria wanna donate?

I was just talkin to one of my mates, he owns a workshop and says he can whip me up a set on his mill. so now all i gotta do is get him a dummy engine and he'll do it. reckons 300 bux tops, so once its done i'll let you all know.

Ok its nearly 4 am, i can't sleep and i was thinking how cool would it be to have gilmer belt drive on my ke10. Purely for wank factor of course cos its got bugger all chance of slipping a belt. Has anyone done it?. I know u can get kits for a rotary but i wanna know if its possible to get one for a k motor. Even if its a kit with no holes drilled. anyone?(This may be a lost cause :y: )

Thanks raven. on a side note i just rang simmons wheels to see how much a set of b45 16" rims were. with 2 at 16x8 and 2 at 16x9 it was $2666 just for the rims :). sure as shit won't be getting them! i'm gunna ring ajps and see how much a set of 15x8" superlites are worth. i really want wider than 7". P.S I'm not looking for rims for the ke10, these are for my ae71. :D

I just rang ozzy tyres, they only come in 15 x 7 and they're 250 a pop. was hoping to get em a little wider, oh well.

Those konig rewinds look alright. any idea if the widths available? And price?

What are these wheels and where do you get them? can you buy them from any tyre store?
