  1. Seriously, it's a 5 minute fix.....
  2. I had a similar issue with my tacho once, there is a little diode that is supposed to be soldered into the trigger line (usually green) that is like a one way valve for electricity, stops the jumping by only allowing the single pulse from the dizzy as opposed to copping the pulse it's supposed to be getting and a "feedback" pulse of sorts...... Have a chat with a friendly old auto electrician or auto parts store owner, he might let you crack open the pack on a brand new tacho to have a look at what diode you need, these diodes are readily available from Dick Smiths and Jay Car. *And cost SFA* Good luck
  3. I think I need more speed :lolcry:
  4. Holy shit, that's epic ;)
  5. Strap them to a pair of Reebok pumps ;)
  6. I'll be there waiting with the camera if you decide to put on a bit of a smoke show ;)
  7. Fark ;) , rego has cleaned me out, I'll still be coming along, but as a spectator only this time, I'll man the camera and snap some pics of everyone's runs on the day :lolcry:
  8. :jamie: It's the spice of life....
  9. Oddly, Crazy Frog remixes....... :jamie:
  10. Maybe, but it'd be close :jamie: If it cracks 100Kph over the quarter, I'd be amazed. Awesome offer man, but you know my luck with other peoples cars, I'd more than likely break something, crash or cause the sun to implode or something...... I'll see if I can fix up the oil leak and get the shit running again, might be worth the laugh
  11. Yeah I have the Daihatsu too, but I think the scrutineers might not like the way it vents oil  That and I'm fairly sure I'd get laughed off the track for dialing in a 26 second pass..... :(
  12. I'll come along for sure, just to watch for now though, pretty sure the truck won't like the quarter too much......
  13. And now the real fun starts
  14. He could nearly wear that for a hat.....
  15. Oh, I forgot to add, once the spring height is raised, it'll cause a heap of positive camber, use Sigma LCA's to rectify, or go the ghetto way and chop them in half, and weld/bolt a slab of steel in place to extend the stockers, not pretty but it'll work......
  16. Kitty can does t3h dori  t3h goddammit, T3H! AHA! I has solvered issue...... More or less......
  17. Put one of those scooters in the back of the white Bb with the red rimmmzzz, fit the Bb with a flip out plate like on the Evo, and tow the lot home with the brown Cressy wagon wearing the Wata's, I'd be a seriously happy boy
  18. I want a banana fan!
  19. Ahh, easy fix for that, remove the dizzy cap, use vaseline around where the cap meets the body of the dizzy, and cable tie it down nice and tight..... Use some vacuum hose to direct the carby intake away from any sources of water..... Find some springs from a coil sprung 4X4, trim them only enough to fit in the front struts (using a spring compressor) and fit them up, that'll solve the front end bottoming out, use uncut Falcon springs in the rear, and a pair of 13X6 wheels wearing 205's, run them about 20-24 Psi and you'll be set to go about anywhere with a big handful of speed :bash:
  20. What's that? Me do a double post? Surely not...... :bash:
  21. Why not? Or am I missing something? :bash:
  22. Yeah ok, that one is genuinely random, made me giggle quite a bit :bash:
