  1. Skip 3rd?
  2. Just for the record, the guy organising the whole thing is only 20 himself (so I'm told) I say go for it, the more people kicking up a well organised and well spoken ruckus about the shitstorm that gets flung in the direction of young drivers, the better...... (I'll admit, some of it is justified) The government needs to realise that it's knee-jerk reactions to things are not the way to deal with the greater problem, driver training. If people are properly trained behind the wheel, they can at the very least soften an impact if they can't avoid it (assuming perfect conditions)..... There will always be f@$kwits doing the wrong thing, but for some others, they just need a place to vent the inner speed demon (Eg. Skidpan)
  3. Have now.....
  4. Yeah, very recent development, one of the other admins from the LAN works for an advertising/design place and took that pic himself, seems he figured I was the best person to get it out there I guess.....
  5. Ok, so there's a forum on run by a bloke who supposedly wants to try and stop/slow down some of the blame for all the bullshit on the roads aimed at young drivers (yes, I know statistically, the young are more likely to crash, blah blah blah) You can read the basic idea of it here You can contact the guy holding it at [email protected] if you have questions for him..... If anyone has the inclination to go and wants to put forward a valid, well thought out argument that might get listened to, send me a PM and I'll get you in contact with a guy who's supporting it as best he can and he will try to get you in direct contact with the guy running the show (the one who wants to change stuff). Oh, apparently some pollies might be there chasing after the youth vote, I don't think that really makes any difference, but if you do, get down there and make public your point. *Ninja edit* Might be an opportunity to show that enthusiast club members have a different mindset to the average VL driving bogan, and should be treated as such..... Could be a good opportunity to suggest further driver training and the possibility of skid pan days too..... (at least if people aren't going to get defected as they leave, anyway) Yoda.
  6. So happy you even posted it twice! :)
  7. Might not be any help, but I bolted a '98 Corolla steering wheel into a KE18, and it just slid right on, I'd be assuming if you have a Toyota bosskit, it'll bolt on, give it a crack and see how you go......
  8. Love it, just love it, awesome on a stick. :)
  9. *edited to remove the first 3 images due to the swear filter goofing the links, lol*
  10. God that's hot...... Love it.....
  11. I'd be in on that, no sweat! ;)
  12. If I remember correctly, there is a bike shop, not a particularly big one, within easy walking distance of the Chelsea train station, they had a ton of parts for old school Raleigh Choppers..... The only trick would be getting a frame custom made, not sure if anywhere in particular specialises in that sort of thing, but have a chat to the blokes at your local Harley shop, and they might be able to put you onto an enthusiast who might be willing to do up a design for you, or even make you up a frame...... No guarantees, but it's what I'd do......
  13. Keen, but I'll hold off getting my CAMs (in an effort to save cash) until the car is done, then I'll feel better about it, and knowing my luck I'd find a way to roll Dirt on you and then I'd feel like a proper idiot..... :jamie:
  14. I'll go, but after I finish the red car
  15. Latest developments include new rear leaves, and new rear shocks, and it's dirty, buried in grass, and it's full of f@$ken spiders again. :) That's about it for now, once the server is built I'll be able to concentrate on this a bit more, and maybe even finish it..... *oh* "it" is staying under the hat for the moment Si......
  16. IFS anyone? :)
  17. The company responsible for this build http://www.mat.fi/n_index.php?nav=company has done some mental restorations in the past, most notably, a model A Ford with a cosworth engine that sounded like it was the stock model A engine (some clever work involved there), a 1949 ZIZ that was owned by Stalin, and their "low budget" build, a 1958 Mercedes Benz 190 SL...... Check the site, they do magnificent work, and I expect that none of it is cheap...... :)
  18. My pants are moving funny because of those seats.......
  19. That is all sorts of ridiculously cool, do very very like. Nice find. :)
  20. The 2 tone suits it I think, you should leave it like that...... :) Except maybe the windshield.....
  21. :) Nothing else to say........
  22. 'mericaan truck burnout epic fail 'mericaan not paying attention to driving :)
  23. That's exactly what it is, and I love it, I'd happily sell a kidney and my left nut to own one, it's proper hot.
