This may well be feeding a fire, but anastasios; where the hell did you pull that BS from? On topic, whitewalls are a choice, you like them, you put them on your car, you enjoy knowing the car looks how you want it. If you don't like them, you don't put them on your car, you accept that some people will want them, and if you see someone's car with white walls, you STFU, keep any narrow minded opinions to yourself and move on. A persons car is a reflection of their personality and desires, everyone's is different, it's just a shame that not everyone understands this.

Ok, with Landcruisers and Hiluxes Km's mean basically nothing, My Hilux has 475,000+Km's on the original engine and is still going strong, only thing that's gone wrong was that a bolt snapped that held the alternator in place, dead easy fix..... Basically, you need to look at the thing in person if possible, check for leaks, funny/weird noises while driving(yes I know all diesels sound kinda funny/weird), and just feel out if the one you're looking at has been thrashed out, if it's spent it's life doing the highway run, it should feel nice and tight and be happy to do you for another half a million Km's before needing any serious mechanical attention..... When I did it they stuck me in a f@$ken automatic Magna, of all the stupid piece of shit cars they could give me, why a Magna? I let them know in a well worded and polite manner they were full of it and that I had absolutely no intention of driving like that as long as I held a valid driving licence, passed the "practical test" which basically meant perform a carbon copy from the text book, thanks very much, I'll take my free jump in ratings and go back home driving like a real person......

Yeah, it's not the "driver training" you want to do, it the "advanced car control" you need to look into...... The ones at skid pans, with water and high powered RWD's...... The "driver training" courses basically promote nothing more than grandma-ism and driving an automatic because taking your hand off the wheel for any reason at all is a potential crash risk..... :)
