I went to get out of parts car and when i put my leg out i caught it on some metal bracket that lives behind door trim(which was off) Edit: Here is a pic from the hospital before stitches.

Dr said i was lucky, missed all tendons and muscle, cut a minor artery and sliced it to bone, 9 stiches a tetnus shot and antibiotics ... Pics coming soon! :)

Waiting for wife to take me to hospital, thought I'll do some work on parts car and sliced my leg open to bone .... :rolls:

What? p.s: big update coming soon, i need to get on a pc for it to happen tho ;)

It's funny how nothing can happen for so long until there is a little motivation and inspiration, and a project car can go from being covered in mold, crap for the last three years to clean, tiddy and running.

Hey guys, You're not going to believe this but its 100% true, Trev came over put his hand on the engine and it started. Only problem is I wrecked all the o rings on the injectors so they are pumping fuel all over the engine bay,

Friday i have to go see my gran If not tomorrow how about next week sometime when your free? Checked and replaced spark plugs to ones from other engine which were working fine.

As promised, here is a pic of Maxi's Christmas pressie, a nice big front mount intercooler and a piping kit. (The price was more than right so I couldn't go past it, even though at the moment it's pointless as the car doesn't even run.)

Sorry Trev, I completely missed your post. Yes regarding advanced timing, I recall the mechanic saying it's advanced as far as it can go. I don't have a test light :( That's what I did, and had it as, I'm sorta grasping now! I did an unplanned stop over to work on the car tonight, basically put the new filter on, I bought the Z200 one, changed the distributor over to another one to see if that would work, no difference, changed the coil pack, no difference, changed the leads, no difference. :( I then noted that I had some fuel coming out between a injector and the rail, took it off and noted rubber o ring needs replacing, so I put it back on and tried again, with still no start, actually ended up doing this to all the injectors as they all started to get this problem, I tried again just before and still no start, another fuel leak from the rail started so before I loose my sanity I'm calling it a night.

Bought the new one installing now

What happens if fuel filter is in wrong way????? Which way does.arrow point ??? Towards fuel rail or down to fuel tank???
