ok, any ideas of which part?? ie the tube from the manifold to rocker cover???. must say it looks cool hooked up to the vacuum advance hose coz of how it goes up then when i floor it it goes down real fast like non existent boost :jamie:

Hi All, recently I was given a vacuum gauge and I was jusrt wondering what a vaccum gauge actually tells you. I hooked it up to the line from my vaccum advance on the dizzy that runs to the carb. the vacuum seems to build up when accelerationg until the second butterfly opens it then goes down. is the vaccum just pressure building up between the time of the fiirst opening and the secondary opening??

I have a green 78 ke30 and I know the name of the shade is " Celtic Green"...don't know if that helps.

1.OK I shall disconnect the sub, 2.I posted twice because I thought it didnt post, it was an accident 3.and I have no Idea how I blew the amp fuse but when I get another one I shall re install the amp. thanks for all the help guys, also any Ideas of somewhere to put the amp in a ke30. ?? I have my 6" fronts boxed on the frnt parcel tray (by passengers feet) pointing down. . cheers Jono

So I hooked it up anyway and bridged it over the 2 rear speaker connections and it goes ok, then in the weekend I proceeded to hhok up my amp and in doing so blew its fuse, being so broke I dident have a dollar for a new one I raged placed amp calmly in the garage and drove to the skatepark to give the old bmx a thrashing, will install amp successfully this weekend.

as I said before was not fully sure, but F@$k it I srtill love the zombie, and considering Ive fully stripped as much weight as its legal to do it goes pretty decent :P so yeah no complaints..jusrt thought I would have my input :dance:

I have a 4k which has been fully worked minus the block. with twin carbies and a home made cold air intake and it is putting out round 95 kw at the wheels I think.. I may be wrong its around 190hp at the fly I have spent $600 at the engine shop.. It all depends on what you do :dance:

Sorry to post this kinda late, but what did you use to make that front lip??? where did you get the wing from?? i'm keen to make one for my 30 :P

Is there anyway to do this its just a wee 10" sub that I want to run till I get a new amp. if so please let me know. like can one bridge the speaker wires from the headunit, I'm running no back speakers at the mo, just front components.

just for simplicity and my race spec look I have one ground wire and one positiive wire running from my battery to multiple out terminals in the cabin, then I hardwire my accessories and get to use switches, in the past though I just grounded things to bolts inside the car or in the fireall..BIG bolts.

Go Find some scrap alloy, and find an angle grinder, easy to bend easy to grind, my bracket has held up for over a year now... seriously angle grinder+ alloy can make anything, I used one to create a bracket to hold my mates hi pressure water hose in his vr4 when it was boosting round 30psi. Be creative and have fun :bash:

My Personal favourite is removing the lead from my coil to my Dizzy, in fact one night I walked out of a friends place to see some filthy little shyte trying to start my car and looking quite cofused, needless to say after watching and laughing for a couple of mins I went a dealt to him, my precious green zombie remains safe again :y:

Pssht Don't use a tacho, be one with the sound of your car man.. in other words why do you need one??

Well I firhured seeing as I am going to be buying a whole levin for $500 and its in good nick, could I not use the struts in my ke30?? its a 96 levin. then I could use the struts and brakes.. :yes:

Hi All I have been offered a fwd '96 Trueno with a 4age for $500 is it worth getting this nd ripping the motor out to put in my 30 ?? what extra parts will I need, any Ideas of the overall cost. I know I will need mounts and gearbox. I am pretty sure its a bzg trueno with a blacktop.

Twin webers with premium 96-98 RON, I'm using an ac12 blowthru, with the pipe having a welded Y intersection for each carb or I will make sum kinda custom airbox with a single pipe going to it. . it is going onto a ported manifold and ported head, lumpycam, full exhaust (2") and bored pistons....full ignition system done too.... :cool:

Does anyone have pictures or Diagrams of mounting brackets for an sc12 or sc14 supercharger onto a 4k. preferably with sizes as well. thanks guys, Jono.
