  1. Nice work! And As Geoff mentioned early, well done on the student budget! :( Keep it up :D
  2. On the drawing, that spoiler looks like it'd suit. BUT, the rest of the car? (side skirts and front spoiler) Sorry to hack your brain on this one, Paul
  3. Just a bit further back.. why don't you do what that guy with the Red SX hatch from NSW [4PERVN] with the "super-turbo" 4AGZE motor. Taken from Hot4s "Matt's idea was to run the supercharger and turbo independantly, with both forcing air into a common pipe, which leads to the intercooler and then back into the inlet manifold. To stop the supercharger simply blowing air back into the turbo, a valve blocks off the turbo outlet until it is making more boost than the supercharger (which still operates at the factory 7 psi). The valve then opens so the higher boosting turbo can take over. Ordinarily, having a turbo blow into a blocked chamber could cause problems. However, as the valve is actually based on a throttle body, when the turbo starts making any boost, the valve will allow some bleeding which reduces the stress on the impeller blades." Interesting hey? He's running a T3/4 Hybrid (running up to 15psi) and the standard SC12 blower. Something to think about :(

  15. How much did you want to spend? If you ain't got much to spend, then go the cheap 5K fix. Otherwise, if you have the funds... do the 4AGE swap.
  16. OROOOOOIT!!! Coming along there, dude! :lmao: GO THE wanna-be carbon fibre bonnet :D
  17. Firstly, welcome aboard :lmao: Secondly, you have come on an corolla based car forum asking should you keep a corolla or sell it, I'm sure you know what we will tell you :D haha Well, what your safest shot would be is get qutoes for the rust repair and just a "quick once over" with the paint and just see if you can afford it. If the car is mechanical fine and the rust is all the drama is , and the rust isn't that extensive, then I'd suggest keeping it. IF the rust is rather bad and require fabricating and all that jazz, I'd say sell the car, because it will become too costy for it's worth. My 2 cents worth.
  18. carbie, mild cam, exhaust, headwork... done :lmao:
