  1. Welcome aboard FBC :) And nice work on the 70!!! Where abouts do you hail from?
  2. Ever since I got into Car Audio, my spare wheel became either Tyreweld or 24 Hour Roadside Assistance :) So I wanted to somehow fill that void in the boot you humans call a spare wheel well! :)
  3. That's why I'm making a serious inquiry about it! I'm liking the gas in the spare wheel well idea... I'll run these past the RTA now that I have some idea of it all.
  4. Mods will be made AFTER rego obviously... but yeah, I figured it'd require engineering afterwards. Coolage! I know what I'm doing now :)
  5. CRX or GTi front buckets and then get the back seat rebolstered to suit the front (make it look like 2 buckets in the back) wrap them in suede with leather inserts. Stealth stereo install would be awesome. Door pods with cloth grilles covering the layout (6.5" splits) and rear shelf done in the same fashion to cover the 7x10 speakers on the back shelf. The interior could be ultimately black with green highlights. That's my 2 cents... if you want pics to show my descriptions above.. tell me and I'll post em up straight away
  6. OK... before you map out a project as such.. what is your budget going to be on this project? Or is this going to be an ongoing money sucker that will basically be a spontaneous build? The audio side I can help with... interior suggestions I could help with too.. So were you looking at a theme? Were you looking at all out airbrushing and stuff? Or original example of a KE30?
  7. Looking the DAMN goods everytime something more is done to it! Truely inspirational, this thread, I'm telling you now :)
  8. That's necked!! I hope they find and cut the nuts off the guy that stole this car with a blunt knife. I'm glad they found the car.. but to find it like that... not good. I can sympathise, I found my mum's car like that 3 days after it was stolen. All guards punctured, interior slashed, stereo gone and torched. :D
  9. Did you try refreshing the page a couple of times? I've had to do that in the past myself
  10. Look after this puppy... it has a Legacy (looks at Nick) :D Good score there :)
  11. That Chaser caught my eye! Was that ever down here? That particular model Toyota? What did Australia call that?
  12. I know that Geoff... but amp racks need room too :) And also... surge tank perhaps? :D
  13. Now what would make you say that? (Pure curiosity)
  14. Did somebody say PICS??? :D
  15. From my side of town too :D VIC boy! WOOHOO!! I have gotta see this tarmac skater in action!
  16. Now that seriously sucks!!! Sorry to hear about that, man! Got pics of the car?

    My Ke20

Nice work buddy :D And welcome to RollaClub too :) A 7K in the KE20 would boogy.. let alone a modified 7K!

Nice ride, dude! :D That motor looks pure horn too!!! (348HP one)
  19. Well, my brother's brother in law is a boilmaker and sheet metal polisher. He does alot of work (building fuel cells and chrome piping for turbocharged vehicles coming out of JPC's factory) so I know who could build the fuel cell. I'm just wondering if we HAVE to hack the spare wheel out and make a flat flooring in the boot and just do like a drop tank underneath... OR do we keep the spare wheel well and build into there... than again, the litre displacement is bugger all in there... maybe 40 litres, I'd say. I'd be opting for a 60 litre at least. That exercise I would do with the future of a high performance engine in mind so and upgrade fuel system won't be such a drag to try and do, it'd be all setup virtually, except the fuel lines obviously.
  20. Nice bodywork there... :D of approval from me :)
  21. Well, that was definitely one I was thinking of. Drop tank style was one to think about. How big are those tanks out of the Toranas, I wonder?
  22. I know LPG tanks can be built for a spare wheel well... so I don't see the difficulty in that. Eventually I would like to go straight gas... so I'm thinking to make an extended tank if I can. Hmmm... decisions decisions. If I went the spare wheel option, that wouldn't need an engineers I don't think... Maybe?
