So you need a T50 manual gearbox for your 4ac? Id just keep looking for a t50 rather than worry about fixing up a 4k. I can only judge a 4k power by my brothers new ke70 auto. One word - SLOW. Maybe manual would be better. Good luck with it man :cool:

I can't remember if i mentioned this before or not but i bought a replacement rear left hand door. The old one was pretty screwed. I thought series 1 and 2 were the same apart from the side strips. I just noticed a small difference with the series 2 door that i bought. Just thought I'd mention it :cool: The brown (s1) has three gaps in it while the s2 has no gaps.

Congrats on the motor. What is it? 4k? Sorry to hear the bad news, hope you get it sorted. Have you thought about a 4ac or 4age? Only because you have a ae71.

Yes sadly ;) , I might paint it with some chrome engine paint but I might just see if I can get another one off ebay or something. It was pretty smeged before anyway. :hmm:

Cleaned up the badge. . I tried Silvo, cut and polish, metal shine, cream clenser and ajax. None worked so I used a drill with wire wheel.

don't quote me on this but i think there is two types of Sony explode. There's the cheap nasty stuff that young P platers buy just to say I got Sony Explode speakers and subs. Its like 100 bucks for a set of 6x9. Then there's the high end stuff for audio comps, that must be what you got and i heard from someone on here they are pretty damm good. *runs and hides*

I saw on pimp my ride 2 nights ago, a camaro with flames on it. Black car with black flames, Just a slight silver metalic outline of the flames, Looked horn! If you get flames I would suggest something like that. I tried to find a picture but this was the best i could do.

It took me about 2 months to find a corolla that is auto for a good price. My brother only has a auto license, red P's. He wouldn't mind manual but still has to learn. It seems 80% of corolla's are manual. I now know why, Lol.

Yeah, it was a little light hearted rant. Had to tell someone :yes: The other thing is my phone's GPS does not work when i am in the hills cos their is no reception. I found out it costs me money when i use the GPS. Oh and when i'm in the city it tells me to turn left in 100m. I do that and it then tells me to turn around. It is about 200m behind itself. Its crap. Lovin the wifi and camera tho.

Well i got a heathy 4ac just sitting here with all the bits, goes good too, it came out of my seca. If my brother is going to the hassle to put in a 4ac he may as well put in a 4age. I guess it is drivabe at the momnet but its nothing special. Just thought it would have gone a bit quicker but it is auto.

I'm not sure if the kickdown is dodge or not. It will kick down to second if i'm 50 or below. Another thing i looked at was the throttle, i thought it was not getting full throttle so checked that and its fine :yes: How would a 4ac compare with a 4kc?

Hey all, my brother has just bought a Ke70 with a 1.3l 4kc motor. I don't know if its just me but its really slow. I took it for a drive and its a slug. It would barley get to 100kms on freeway. If there is a slight hill i have to floor it keep it at the speed limit on the slight incline. If its a big hill i'd be lucky to go 50km/h while everyone else beeps me and flys past at 70km/h Things to take into account. It hasn't been driven for about 2 months. Its auto and it may have a cooling problem.

I heard that you can steam clean any Japanese engine. My Datsun, corona, pulsar and corolla have never had a problem getting wet. I have never covered up a dizzy. My fords are another story. XD XF and EA ran like dogs for about half a day after i cleaned them. Edit. Never cleaned the EL cos i am worried it wont start after. Its running like a dog now, Guess its just a ford.. :yes:

Its horible news and i just hope the death toll rises no more. I had a experience about 10 years ago when i was 15. The fires up in Mt dandenong were only 500 meters from my house and we decided to stay and fight. There was a wind change at the last minute and the firefighters contained the fires. Today i rang my mum 4 times just to make sure she was safe. Burwood Hwy was closed so i couldnt drive up the hill. There were fires in Upper Ferntree gully. I just got told there was a fire in Lilydale that just broke out. I am listening to 693 Am. I hope everyone is safe. Oh and a huge thankyou to all the brave firefighters and volunteers that have helped today. Without them it woud be alot worse.

I just punch myself real hard in the chest. Gets rid of it in a second. I guess its not good for your heart but it works, leaves a red mark too.

I will block any reg plates in pics but I can't do much about video footage but I'll do my best. Edit. Oh and tell me what car and colour you were driving so i know which car to block. Eg. I know the rolla your talking about. I seen it about 4 years ago, It took off at the lights with the front tires 1 foot off the ground! I could have bought it 2 years back, $4000 he wanted for it but no reg or RWC.
