Hey all, Thinking about having another cruise in around 6-8 weeks. The Lilydale to Noojee cruise was awesome (thanks Simon aka 1984KE70) Is anyone interested in having another crusie? I think it's great to find a car in this condition, all the best with the work on it :lolcry: Just make sure you finish your other project first but then again car's are never finished.. Johno

I heard i lot of good things about Bridgestone Tire joint in kilsyth. They are on canturbury Rd opposite 7 eleven. Edit: By the way i have sumitumo tires on my rolla and i think they are great, awsome stopping power in the wet.

Well you got the books to prove the milage and you say it drives like new. I reckon get reg and a RWC and you could get $3,000. Just fix the ripped seats and maybe bog up the dash and repaint it.

Thanks, yeah the 4ac is going alright, just wish i could chirp second, maybe after the new clutch i will. I almost killed the motor, i checked the oil today and it was almost bone dry :lolcry: It's burning oil i think coz i can't see any on my driveway. When i first bought the car it was smoking everytime i started it up or put the foot down at the lights and went like a slug, now it doesn't smoke at all and has heaps more power. Just lucky i checked it today, guess i'll have to check it weekly now.

Thanks for the comments. I got the camera fully installed today, fixed the broken wires and put the car back together. Everything is running sweet. I just ordered new 6" splits for the front and 6" 2ways in the back, JL audio VR600 series.

This car could be worth quite a bit if you cleaned it up, 72,000kms that's amazing.

I have got the car booked in tomorrow for a new clutch and machined fly wheel, should have a bit more power after this. I could only put the foot about halfway down before because otherwise it would slip like buggery.

If i was to pull the engine out of my seca i'ld put in a 4agze. I'd have to put in a ECU and change heaps of stuff. I'm not going to but shit, i wish i could...

Got my reverse camera in the seca today, works great :P Just hung the wires over the seats and plugged it in. When it came time to install it properly it was a friggin nightmare!! I had to get the wires down the side of the window which ment using a coat hanger and pulling the wires through. Just as i got the video cable through the other side it snapped!! :P

Hi, my rear demister on my ae82 seca is not working. The element stuff on the glass has been sunburnt or something and due to the age of the car every line is broken somewhere. I want to tint my windows soon but i want to fix this problem first. Is there some kind of rear demister sticker you can buy or do i need to replace the rear window?

New pics from this morning (sunday). Door trims are finished! :D I used bolts to attach the MDF to the door trims, Its underneath the carpet so you wont see any ugly screws like my first attempt at this a few years back on another car...

By the way i have the rolla back, I lent my mate the falcon. Here is some pics of what i did today. I'm using this sheet of 3mm mdf to make new door trims for my 6" splits Thats all i could do today because it started to get dark I'll cut the mdf to shape tomorrow and put on the new black carpet and attach the pods.

Dam, I wish I could have gone to that, I'm spewin i lost my car keys but i spose it was best coz i went to a 21st party the night before, got wasted and i was still pissed in the morning. BTW i love that red Celica, looks shit hot!!

It's been a while since i updated this project, I had the day off work today. I don't get much time to do any work on my rolla because when i get home its pitch black outside (dam daylight savings!) Anyway had the day off and i tried to get a clutch but no one would do it on such short notice. (Fair enough.. I only gave them one hour notice) I didn't expect to have the day off so hence the short notice. So anyway instead of spending the money on the clutch i bought more shit for my car like paint, carpet etc.. By the way i found my usb phone cable so here are pics of last fortnight weekend.
