All fixed, just had to change the wheel studs. I must have forgot to tighten that wheel up :P Booked in for a Dyno tune today.

Ok, just done a little more research on injectors. If the pink ones are a different plug, what about the blue ones? They are only slightly higer impeadence, 2.4 ohm and 210 cc. and they have the same plug that i already have. I guess it would only be as good as what the ECU is sending out though I think i have wiring C, thats what the chart is showing.. :)

I'm very simple, as you both might know.. Unbolt this, bolt this up. 4ac out, 4age in Thats about as far as my mechanics go. To change cams over id just pay my mechanic to do it for me. btw, i got know idea what a pulse speedo is.. :)

Yeah, as far as i know the manual steering rack is shorter. I want to change to twinky front hubs but not sure if i can screw the stock rack ends out 10mm to make the wheels straight.. :lol: might be a lil dodgy.. :)

If your dash is rattling, the top plastic piece that sits over the cluster, pull out the 2 little air vents on the sides of the dash cluster, and check if the screws are loose, if not then take them out and 2 others above the speedo, they are on 45 deg angle at the back, take it off and put some thin foam tape on the back edge and it should fix your problem :)

Well i didnt do any burnouts but did take off a bit quick, not wheel spinning quick but almost.. Ok the drive shaft was not done up properly but i did the wheel nuts properly. Not sure, i'll change the hub over tomorrow you may "edit your post now if you want... :)

Yeah I'm thinking about putting it on the dyno, would be interesting to see what its pulling.. :lol: Just sheered the lug nuts off the rolla tonight :lol: Its on my rides thread. Did this a few weeks ago, broke the drive shaft Did this tonight.. Dropped the clutch abit quick then 2 seconds later.. bang! I don't know how it happened.. I had the lug nuts on tight :lol: Its still running the standard 4ac setup, would that be a problem? I'm sure it could handle the 4age power but maybe not? :) Only one nut stayed on, but the the others are off and somewhere down the road.

If i start messing around with big cams then i will have to get Haltach ecu or a gready piggy back system or something. I'll still be hunting for more power after getting the cams what ever else i deside to do, so i might just hold off and buy a 20v or a GZE later down the track :)

I'd only go for the 272 cams if i got a $1,300 ECU which I'm not going to do. I'll just try and get a JDM ECU for now and not worry about internals. Internaly i think the motor is pretty stock apart from a bit of head work.. not sure what that is though, I bought the 4age from (Evil Twin) aka "Mick" What pump are you talking about Trev?

It seems a heck of a lot of money to be spending on a 4age to get bigger cams, ECU, tune it then still want more power. Then later changing the internals to suit a turbo or something. I might do a 4agze conversion later insted of spenting 3 grand on a 4age. :lol: I just want a little power kick for now so would a JDM ecu plug into my wiring loom? I have done all the cheap upgrades to the 4age already Irudium Plugs 2" Exhaust Turbo Muffler High flow cat Service Good quality oil Premium fuel High flow air filter So next... jdm ecu? would it be just plug and play? EDIT: found one for $100, so am i wasting my money or will it work? :)

Hey, I was looks for a quick and simple power upgrade. My 16v 4age has had some minor head work, (port polish and grind), iridium plugs, 2" sports exhaust, Airpod, Turbo muffler, always run 98 oct premium fuel, 100% synthetic oil and all filters changed. Power steering and A/C pumps and belts taken off too just to get a few extra KW. I was thinking about getting bigger cams.. 272 deg and HKS cam gears but need to get an after market ECU Eg.. Haltech or something. The cost of getting one is quite a bit not to mention getting it tuned so going to hold off and maybe get a Gze from a Levin ae101 or something (all just thoughts for now) :wink: So another thing is that i read somewhere that JDM ECU's are 96kw and ADM are 86kw. From what i read it advances the timing and few other things a bit. Can i just buy one and plug it straight in my 16v bogport or does it require rewiring some things?

I tried putting twinky front hubs on a 4ac ae82. The hubs were different and both wheels were turned in after as like the steering was longer on both sides. I had to change it back to stock hubs because i couldn't even push the car downhill on the driveway. I guess the shorter or longer steering rack rods must be compensated by the hubs.. :wink:

I think the max you can go legally is 2" bigger than what is stock. If your car was factory fitted with 15"s then you could have 17"s legally. I don't mind it, at least you can still get over speed humps and have the guards on the tires :laff:

Thanks for the comments :laff: Well, sub box is finished.. fitted out the wiring last night and all running. The box is a little too big i think, and the amp is too small :D It sounds really good but i just can't crank it up otherwise it distorts. Down low it sounds sweet and hits some pretty low notes. Pics..
