I found ordering braid and fittings was way cheaper through places like Summit in the US, even with the cost of shipping you can still come out at under 2/3 the price of buying in australia
  3. Any pictures of the rear wheel tubs from the boot and from the inside of the car?

wheels don't even fill the flares..... But, if you cover from the A pillar forwards, it actually looks like a little brother of the SLR
  5. I don't rest my foot on the pedal, so there isnt a worry about that, and it all depends on how/where you drive, I drive the freeway everyday (roughly 200kms a day) and I just find it easier with all the people that love to slow/stop/go/slow/stop/slow all over the freeway to use my left foot, different strokes for different folks. Its just one of those things, I grew up racing Karts and it kind of carried over to driving and now I'm ampidextrous? (spelling?) with my feet for the most part (I also have monkey toes, I can grip stuff with them, its kind of freaky.)
  6. I opened expecting to be grossed out by people in wheelchairs getting it on...... I'm disapointed. Not really my cup of tea, I like my muscle cars to rumble and lump around, its a nicely done conversion and would be a fun ride, but yeah, ruins the whole ideal for me.
  7. thats awesome!
  8. 350s are a shitty carby anyway. Its a common thing in the holden 6 world for people to throw a 350 on as an "upgrade" but basically all they do is chew fuel.
  9. I'm a left foot braker in autos, depending on the car I sometimes left foot brake in manuals. I havent seen that add though, might only be in other states. They need to ban dickheads driving around with their seats layed back past the B pillar.
  10. YOU HAVE PIGGY FLU!
  11. Reminds me of my friends bengal cats (the stance, markings etc) Id have one
  12. ohhh infamous to be honest, I never would have gotten it either...
  13. WGMG is having no thread on here to brag about how awesome it is that I just copped a great promotion at work. I'm now the Marketing co-ordinator for a division with 70mil+turnover per year :)
  14. looks like an asian batmobile :)
  15. Then speed up straight away afterwoods..... speed cameras DO NOTHING but slow people down for 100 metres. If they really wanted to control speeding they would have frequent police patrols and roadside radar setups. If you don't know where it is, then you are more likely to slow down.
  16. I'm confused? Welding the chassis in that way is called stitch welding, due to the fact you do small runs with spaces (like a sewing machine stitches) instead of one solid weld. If one weld decides to crack, the whole lot are less likely to follow suit. Where as if its one large seam weld, then you run the risk of developing cracks that run the length of the weld (fatigue over time etc)
  17. trouser snake
  18. In terms of holden sixes (as an example) without going to roller rockers there are a few options, main one is 1.65 ratio from falcons. Or you can bolt on 308 rockers (1.6 aswell) standard is 1.5 So if you can find a set of rockers that will bolt in and not upset the angle of operation, then Id go for it. Only thing to check is spring bind when fully compressed.
  19. No worries, I was just a bit pissed off from other stuff and took it as a bit of a dig. no harm done though? I'm just a cranky pants.
  20. canada and for the record, I find the term moose knuckle (more for what it means) hilarious.
  21. Id love to see pictures of him as he gets bigger hey! I can't believe how small the little tacker is, one of our good friends is 12 weeks out at the moment and he/she is a fiesty little sucker, loves to punch and kick!
