  1. haha dent? what? lol Thanks mate for the comments :( Yeah, that will be the driving height  Could probably put it down another 20mm all 'round, but I like it as is :P
  2. Thanks for the words guys :P My front and rear bars, mirrors and front door handles will be sprayed next week, so the outside will be looking more like a car within a fortnight :( And I am REALLY wanting to fire this beast up for the first time by the end of this month!!!

  5. I wish I had clearance mate :P It actually hits the spring :P Only just tho!
  6. Hey guys Got all my rear suspension arms back in this morning... Coilovers in... Put wheel back on... Wheel rubs on bottom of coilover spring  Stupid big ghey ass wheels lol So going to get a slightly shorter spring set for the rear tomorrow (only needs to be about 20mm to 30mm shorter)... More waiting :y:
  7. Hey champ! The rear doors will be only opened from the inside! Because I removed the seat belts from the rear (look to cluttered for a show car IMO), I cannot sit anyone in the back anymore! So I just open from the inside! The front locks will be run off of the standard battery and will be running a small 'back-up' battery under the dash which will be activated by a small switch under the car 'somewhere' in the case of a dead main battery! In Tassie, there are no laws against no handles (I reckon the same for other states, but best to check), as long as there is a manual way of being able to get inside! But because no one will be in the rear of my car, there wasnt any need! Hope that helps! Thanks dude
  8. I had them shaved AGES ago... but I think they were more noticable because I took pictures of the car in the SUN (yes, we do actually get that here in tassie :)) I was going to do the fronts, but got a case of the CBf's, so they will be colour coded, but the front door locks were gone! Thanks mate... much appreciated!
  9. :hmm: Definately will not be seeing dirty roads thats for sure :y: Here is a really shit picture (off of camera phone) of what the front looks like with the coilovers in... can't wait to get the rear in... Just waiting for the rest of the suspension parts to be 'brushed
  10. Very impressive dude :hmm: Camt wait to see the final job on the duco :y:
  11. Thanks guys :y: Coilovers were around 1300 - 1500... or something close lol... Update: front coilovers in and am now tucking rubber :hmm: Didnt want to go too much because I am waiting for the rear arms etc to be 'brushed...

  20. Go thru Shannons Insurance dude ;) Thats who I am thru and they didnt mind the taillights at all  The chrome bars are part of the seat rails I had to make... Thought them painted black would be boring
  21. Farkin' finally got the pics uploaded... ISC Coilovers: New LCA bushes: LCA's: with bushes in Shitty photos sorry, but very well detailed when seen in person  Didnt want him to go too crazy on the design tho... More chrome work: Silver zinc plated suspension bolts: Hope you all enjoy ;) More to come soon! Johno... 1. the sticky stuff is pretty much just sikaflex... it was to help stop gunk, crap and dirt getting in from the gaurd to your engine bay... Because mine isnt going to see dirt and everyday use, I'm not worrying about putting any on when the gaurds go back on! 2. haha road laws in Tassie? what are they haha! The tail lights are actually still VERY bright and noticeable in the day (even tho they look completely black)! Ive never had any problems with Police or the Tas Transport Department! 3. The carpets were from Knox Auto Carpets... I ordered it thru their website... very well priced! 4. The other should be for the fuel pump yeah ;) Your very lucky dude, as mine never came with the puel pump plug at all!!! Cheers, Moe
  22. Hey guys... Sorry I havent updated for a while! PhotoBucket is being a right royal kent and I can't upload pics :o Has been a crazy month of working on the car... Few of the things that have happened... - All suspension components have now got nolethene bushes - All suspension arms have been airbrushed (:y:) to a similar style of the engine bay - ISC coilovers have arrived (can't wait to finally tuck some rim) - Car itself has been repainted as I wasnt 100% happy before! - Spent a week sanding back my beautifully painted and airbrushed dash :bash: But it is getting resprayed and re-airbrushed to suit new colour of interior! - Sent the last big big of chrome upto Tas Plating Services in Launceston and should be at my door step next week... :sob: As soon as photobucket hardens the feck up, Ill get some pics up for you all :sob: I am hoping within 3 weeks I will be starting it for the first time!!! :sob: Cheers, Moe
