  1. Without looking at it, It makes it hard to say. No headlight relay setup I know of earths the lights through the relay..
  2. ROFL, Makes it even funnier..
  3. The relay only feeds power to the fog lights, it doesn't feed the earth, the earth goes to the body/frame of your car or your earth side of your battery..
  4. yeah, you have to to shake the can pretty good..
  5. lol, not too bad considering you are from bogandesert :y:
  6. Got it booked in for a tune next thursday, Will be interesting to see how it runs when its not overly ritch..
  7. Talk about swiss cheese..
  8. The fuel pump is mechanical, No wires involved..
  9. Could possibly just be that wire thats hanging down then goes to that one temp switch, the other one might be for oil pressure. Does your oil pressure light work when you turn the igniton on and start it up?
  10. 1. Possible wrong bulb in brake light bulb holder (single filament) bridging both brake and park wires, trailer plug wiring shorting out or some other short elsewhere in the wiring. 2. connect up that switch wire to your gearbox switch. Don't worry about the other wires (May be aircon related?) 3. that wire goes over the other side of the thermostat housing where there is another temp switch. 4. check the voltage at the alternator B+ post when the car is running, if it is the same as your battery voltage you have issues - Should be around 14v (Could also possibly be a burnt out fusible link). 5. Judging by its position I'd say it is a start relay, Pull the relay out and try start the car, If it doesn't crank, Thats what its for.. Where abouts you from anyway? Put your location in your profile and welcome to rollaclub... Justin........
  11. Wow, Thats pretty gay..
  12. For what reason won't they let you put a 5K in?
  13. Teddy and I are about to leave now, See you at the Hypermarket Carpark opposite Maccas at Aspley. Meeting is from 7:00pm - 7:30pm. Depart 7:30pm to head out to Bracken Ridge. Make sure you have food and fuel before you get there, No real stop-offs from that point.. Those who haven't pimped there cars in Christmas attire will be ridiculed :lolcry:
  14. its quite confusing, it changes between motors depending if the are early or late and what it actually came out in.. My AW11 MR2 motor for instance (N/A version) has the big crank but no oil squirters. This AW11 though doesn't have the big crank or oil squirters. An AW11 4AGZE though has the big crank and oil squirters..
  15. So what time do we want to meet for this tonight, I was thinking around 7pm would be a good time. Possibly Aspley in the hypermarket carpark. Go hit the 2 big hotspots.. Bracken Ridge (Barbour Road, Wickfield Street & Rosa Crescent) and Eatons Hill (Calypso Court). Make sure you have a refadex so you don't get lost if you lose the group..
  16. That usually happens when someone puts a single filament bulb in the brake light bulb holder.. (Should be twin filament for parkers/brake) Check your globes. Failing that the next most common cause of that happening is wires in a trailer plug letting go and touching each other..
  17. Does it have a 200mm clutch too?
  18. Was over that way today, Should have called in.. Will go see him at some stage, Just need time, Last time I went with Teddy we got stuck chatting for ages, lol...
  19. I was under the impression all 7 rib blocks had the big crank, oil squirters or not..
  20. Aah, I thought mr2's all had the bigger cranks..
  21. Man thats crazy, Who's motor is that?
  22. Awesome news!
  23. woot, should be running very soooon!
  24. I think it is the wire on the bottom (Should be a yellow wire i think, Can't see in the picture). You don't need a test light to test it as it works on resistance. Just pull that wire off the sender and touch it to the block. Get someone to look at the gauge in the car and see if it climbs to max temperature. If it does you then know the gauge works and the wire to the gauge is fine too. You don't need to run the car at all to test it. Just find a second hand one from the wreckers and replace it.. The interior light fuse should be called "dome" on the fuse box diagram i think..
