Last night dad put the chrome molding around the windscreen and fitted the upper radiator mounts. Well we got quite a bit done today, Dad fitted the interior light door switches, central locking door lock actuators and got the front vent panel (below the windscreen) back on. I messed about with the windscreen control relay, Resoldered all the joints inside and still had issues. Noticed the box that it plugs into was rusty inside, Cleaned the rust all away with the tiny Dremel wire wheel and then like magic it works again. (Also the blower motor works now too - Fixed 2 problems at once) I ran the wiring for the handbrake light, Wired in the interior light, Fitted the bonnet release to the dash, Connected up the brake switch, Created the reverse light harness to the gearbox and cleaned up the windscreen wipers ready for a coat of paint. Teddy has been messing around with the dash/interior getting as much in as he can and also fitted his airbox. - Video proof it moves!

I'm pretty sure all KE70s had intermittant wipers, Seems to be an electrical problem, Suspect wiper control relay, Could possibly be a dry solder joint..

It drives)($&*#&^(!!! Took it for a few laps of the yard tonight after cutting the hole in the carpet for the shifter, filling gearbox with oil, filling diff with oil, fitting steering wheel, hanging exhaust and fitting a seat in the front :)

It was all standard KE70 sedan gear, From what I was told the old foam was pretty f@$ked when he was reupholstering them.. Matt probably asked to have them beefed up a bit.. Anyway, Picked up the fronts this afternoon..

Pulled up behind a goldie coloured KE70 just before work this morning (beatty road near archerfield ariport), had a rollaclub sticker on the back window. Gave my car a few revs behind him at the lights but didn't seem to get a response. And dude, you need to get your drivers rear axle/rim looked at, lol...

What do you mean by cushion? This was made out of the standard rear seats to match the pattern of the front seats..

Picked up the rear seats from my uncle's workshop today, Fronts are done too, But they want to wait for the fabric to settle before they are happy to give them back...

I always see a yellow KE70 with MA supra rims near beaudesert road / granard road, sure it has a rollaclub sticker on it, no idea who it is though, usually about 7am when i see them..

Yeah, I manually Primed the surge tank (Didn't want to run the high pressure one dry) But it took one crank cycle to pressurise the fuel rail (Was no fuel in the lines up to the engine because they are all new)..

Teddy got all the surge tank setup completed just before, Finished wiring up the pumps and it fired up on the second go :locked: More videos to follow!

The idea of the TVIS is to keep the low down torque, I think I've heard of people leaving them in turbo setups before as it does help. Some people just like to f@$k it off and you could have a plate machined up by an engineering workshop if you wanted.. I think Techno Toy Tuning may even sell a plate to suit. If you are running anything other than the standard EFI setup I'd take it out of the picture...

You can't just go out and buy it new over the counter, All setups will usually be second hand unless you fabricate your own manifold to run its own single/quad throttle bodies. Do you intend on installing it yourself? What is your budget?, What do you want to achieve with having EFI?, Do you intend on turbocharging/supercharging the motor? There are a lot of questions you have to ask yourself before you can come to a conclusion of what way you want to go and asking us to decide for you isn't really the best idea as we have no background of your car. The most simple way to get EFI on a K motor is a 4K-E setup or a 7K-E setup, As you haven't referred to either one in your first post I'm not aware of how much you know about these setups. Most of the info is in the FAQ link I posted, If there is something that is not there 99.9% of the population here would usually help to answer it for you.
