  1. Depends how much you shave off, You would have to do the calculations..
  2. The force of the bog is strong with this one :S You should see what I've done to Teddys white KE70 lately, hehehehe
  3. Think they look identical anyway..
  4. At the moment I am wanting to shape up the rollaclub FAQ a bit, If you know what upgrading to Sigma control arms in a KE70/AE71/AE86 does and want some credit for your knowledge on the FAQ then please post up what you know here..
  5. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/faq/inde...a/starter-relay
  6. That magna is insane, Looks like its been hit by a mack truck!
  7. Aaah, Progress, Got to love getting time to do stuff..
  8. I personally think it is better for someone new to cars/driving to work with something basic for starters, then as they learn more they can decide what option they want to go in the future. Get a 5K in it, sort the suspension / interior / rims etc. Then when that is all done and you come into some money make your decision on what motor you want to go then..
  9. Need I say typical skyline driver, I expect to see some commodores wrapped around trees in this thread too..
  10. It is too time consuming to send every offender a PM, Even then you may not even get a reply from them so I can't justify wasting the time. If the thread is just locked and they can come back to read it, when they read that they haven't followed rule A, B and C then it is justification for further action if they become a repeat offender. Start a new thread if you want to talk about this, I already warned about posting stuff not related to this topic.
  11. OK, I think this thread is about to exceed its purpose, next person that doesn't post anything of value will be in trouble..
  12. People get sidetracked with other projects, simon is a bit more active, pretty simple and not really for anyone that doesn't live in tas to decide..
  13. New region leader, Congrats simon!
  14. Locking the thread is the best thing as deleting it in the past has caused people to get all fired up..
  15. If you use the proper forum etiquette when making a post and follow the rules in the first place, The general forum goer has nothing to worry about. I feel it is in no way appropriate for people who put their own time into moderating this forum to send pm's to every forum goer that is to lazy or stupid to follow the rules. It is easy to sit on the other side of the fence and be overly critical of what the moderators here do but put yourself in our shoes, Sometimes you have to get your point across and don't want to sit arguing via pm's (We can't be here 24/7, we all have a life and better things to do). I think we have an exceptional forum with trivial politics compared to other forums I know of. If you see something that does offend you, then fire off a pm or email to an admin and you will get a response in due time.
  16. hahahaahaha, man, thats a top effort!
  17. Wonder if the end of month quotas are too low for them.. need to raise more revenue..
  18. well that was part of the rule that I was familiar with, If you can't stop in that distance or someone is tailgaiting and it will cause an accident you must surely have grounds to drive through on the amber..
  19. They can vacuum the track while they are going, mad  A lot of effort to go to though for a road car I think..
  20. You only stop on an amber if it is safe to do so.. I also hate motorbike riders that wish to be part of my front end detailing.. I think he shit himself a bit, Mabey he might look and listen next time before he decides to do a suicide lane change..
  21. Shibby, Now it just needs enough power to DRI47!
  22. For that price I'd want at least a 2L twincam in it.. You could probably score a corolla with a 4AGE already in it for that price.. But if you can justify the money then go for it..
  23. Awesome shots, Pity it is out of action at the moment..
  24. Yeah, Get stronger valve springs if you are working the motor, read the FAQ, has some good info on building a tough K motor.. Extractors, Cam - pretty much the usual.. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...a_tough_K_motor
  25. My carbs are DHLA40s, a 32/36 downdraft is a cheaper option but doesn't flow as good as a twin sidedraft setup. depends which way the manifold and carb are set up, with sidedrafts the air comes in from the side, downdrafts the air comes in from the top.. I think the manifolds are around the $200 mark, linkages are probably about $50.. And then you need filters as well / Tune etc..
