It is a know fact that high volume spammers scan website cache for e-mail addresses so they can spam them, best to PM someone instead of leave your email for spammers/scammers to have their way with.. I think somewhere in the vicinity of 4-6L of paint should do a KE70.. I think we used about 8L but we had issues on the first attempt with the metalics going all mottled and had to do a bit of respraying..

By all means do the simple fix first!!! Whack a new bulb in and let us know how you go.. (I was under the assumption you knew the bulbs were good)..

With some modification..

You earth from the body of your car to wherever the bulb grounds in the bulb holder..

use a test light from a ground point to where the bulb grounds out, If the test light is dull then you have a bad earth, if the test light doesn't light up the earth is good..

Do you mean when your park lights are on one of your brake lights doesn't work when you apply the brake pedal? (I'm assuming all the bulbs work fine?) Kind of sounds like a bad earth to me..

On that note, Friday night when I went to Nick's place my car didn't want to start (Lucky for the big hill he lives on).. Ripped the starter off this morning and pulled it down to reveal why I have been having issues with it lately.. Appears the ground brush has been sticking in from time to time when the armature has been poling from time to time due to the bush being flogged out. Managed to find another starter here to fix it up with today just it doesn't have the mounting stud for the heatshield (Must be an earlier one).. Managed to sort it out and got a photo of the anatomy of a K starter motor..

Put the plate up against the 5K head I have here today, Shows you just how much it needs to be ported. (what you see there plus a little more..) Exhaust ports could have some more taken off too..

5K one may be a bit more powerful, Unsure of the specs of each of them. Nippon Denso reduction starter looks like this..

Thats the rear main seal (Goes around the crank) means gearbox out, clutch/flywheel off etc. to replace it.. Probably have to replace the sump seal while you are in there (Best done on an car hoist).. Couple of hour job there..

Do you mean rear main seal? or rear of the sump seal? Sump seal would be easy to do on a hoist, If it is the rear main it means the gearbox has to come out...
