  1. haha yeh a coil is meant to have current flow through it which creates an electro'field which creates the massive spark that ignite fuel, your just attempting to put current in at both side instead of letting it flow through. so you willl have to fix this and then it should sort that out
  2. goto Malz auto shop or somewhere like that and take that welsh plug with you, malz sells them and they sell the better C shape ones if you can fit it in
  3. pics would be helpful what does the chassis plate actually say,,,ke70, ae71, ae86, ae92? if its an ae86 then youve found a BARGAIN if its a ae71 then still a bargain. its 2 six packs, give em corona and they'll be happy as hell and youll get a car
  4. yeh lipo car batteries would be awesome but the fires they cause are scary read a few things on these elec superchargers and it all seems to be ok if you have a spare 3 batteries in your back seat to power it for a minute the only 2 benefits of this is you can put it wherever you want and also you can run up to 8 psi wherever in the rev range you want. ive found something thats probably more useful than the electric SC... haha
  5. yeh, like medicine man said, you wouldnt use 0 gauge wire for an led light so pick your wire correctly, there is an algorithim to decide what wire but i can't remember it also if you use the same size fuse as subaru has then you shouldn't have a problem with it, unless you only want to use more than 1 appliance on the wire in which case you will need to calculate how much you will need.
  6. check what size fuse subaru has used on all their other cigarete lighters, and use the same make sure there is a perfect ground positive, its really just 2 wires so not much can go wrong
  7. alright got my p's and got her insured now so ive got her on the road :y: got an adm speedo sender to correct the speedo problem just need to fix my fuel gauge, it read from empty to half and thats the full sweep so i do not know whats going on but i think it might have shat itself i will get some videos on your tube i can now beat NA pulsars with ease even when i almost stall it at the lights
  8. i think what you mean is that you fan doesnt work, is that right? if so then get the multi metre out and start testing, there are fuse boxes in the drivers side kick panel, on the battery strap also some tucked up under the dash from memory (or i might be thinking of dads old car) check all these out and if there is voltage going through the switch then you need a new fan box, which will cost all of about 50 bux, might as well get air con while your at it
  9. alright first of all are all 4 injectors plugged in? are all the plugs in to torque specs? get a timing light onto it is the spark plug black, tanned brown or white when you pull it out? if black too much fuel, if white not enough, if brown then mixture isnt your problem.
  10. make a massive water tank out of plexiglass and keep it in your boot, put 2 window washer pumps and make the hoses go onto the front half of the tyre when you wanna skid in the dry you make the road wet :(

  12. easiest way to tell is the bigport has 8 runners and the smallport has only 4 incase you don't know runners are the tubes that go from the intake plenum to the intake ports on the head
  13. damnit i wished i had come to the cruise, looks like it was still pretty fun i could have raced h1 roll4 down the zigzag, well next time ill have me ae86 sway bars in so ill have less body roll
  14. how do you know that at least one is worn?? get a whole new set otherwise you will have to pull the engine out again in 6 months time

  16. wow high tech pump in that case just block off the return line with a hose that has a bolt with the thread taken off hose clamped in one end. goodluck with it all, hope to see you on the cruise
  17. oh ok and the pump you have has 3 lines going to it? 1 from tank, 1 to carbs and 1 return? or just 2
  18. you don't have a return line? thats odd umm try run a return line with a fuel pressure regulator otherwise it will give too much pressure or burn the pump out

  21. been here for about a year now Kiahn KE70 getting built up for grip/drift whilst being my daily Year 12 :S i like spending money but have very little of it love my car, would cry if i crashed it. her names kaleisha AKA kiki
  22. yep sounds good :S will have my licence by then for sure :dance: plus a very slim chance of my car being on the road then too
  23. yeh solder it, don't braise as you will probably remove the solder that is already there
