  1. I did that after seeing the first few photos :)
  2. Yeah, but thats not counting for the actuators for the central locking, wiring to it etc, plus it'd be a headf@$k putting an immobiliser in a late model car unless you are up to date with them. You'd be better off *just* doing the central locking rather than trying to incorporate an immobiliser... Pretty much anything by Jaycar is the go, I've noticed...
  3. I don't know what the f@$k I was thinking last night :y: In memory the car was a HB torana with a warm 202, which i wanted to buy for the 202 to put in a KE30 from a bloke that was into Corollas... ahaha But yeah. Theres some pics, lol
  4. Man that car would look sick dumped on those rims and chrome dress rings... and a rear window venetian... Would look bloody tough.. nice find man Dan
  5. Oops, wrong picture. I'll remove that one, haven't got a clue where the f@$k the KE20 is
  6. What a dumb shit. I put up a photo of a Torana instead of the KE20. Pics will come later hahaha Then there is Geoffs old 202 KE30 (Rolla Boy) I guess I could see what else I can dig up....
  7. Yep, I eat my words, just don't remember it eating sooo much firewall. I'll try and dig up the pictures of the 202 KE20 Dan
  8. Picture of SUS-020s engine bay. Owner is PMP-020. Looks as though there was a shitload of firewall cut out for the 4.1L 250 X-Flow, haha.
  9. Assumed because this is a thread about putting Aussie motors into little Jap cars :y: But actually putting a bit more thought into it, I'm gunna assume that he wants to put a RB30 in it (r31 sillhoute) haha. I don't see why a 4.0L shouldn't fit in it (extensive firewall mods needed, perhaps) because I know of a 250 X-Flow KE20, the 250 is a very similar size to the 4.0L
  10. I'd say that hes entertaining the fact of putting either a 250 X-flow or a 4.0L in it? If so, there is a bloke on here that has a KE20 with a supercharged (?) 250 X-Flow KE20, and a RB30ET KE20 - if he can fit those motors in a KE20, you'd be able to fit them in a KE30-55-70 I'd think ('20 is a smaller engine bay)... There is also another fella who had a 202 in a KE30. The radiator was mounted on the side of the engine, and the 202 took up the majority of the space between the rad support and firewall, lol. I also know of another bloke with a 202 KE30, he races junior sedans and built the 202 powered beast as a burnout car/paddock basher, haha. Goes pretty hard I'm told. I actually always wanted to build a 202 '30 since Geoff told me of it. Good luck with the conversion, and post pics!! Because I want to learn from other peoples trial and error before I give it a shot, haha. Dan
  11. Over here in WA i got quoted $314 for my plate in slimline front/normal back, one time fee, I can keep the plate for as long as I want as long as its on a registered vehicle at all times... Does QLD have to pay a yearly fee?

    My Ke55

It is impossible to do snakeys down the road at 20kays... mate, its not like we're gunna get angry or some shit for losing control of your car, be honest, thats gotta be at least a 40km/h-50km/h impact... Just find yourself lucky that it wasn't on the side of the car that you hit the tree, wouldn't have been so lucky then ay... i take it the chassis rails will be bent the f@$k out of? If not, then you'll be right :y: a bit of time with a mallet and some new panels and you'll be right, i fixed my KE55 with similar damage in the space of a few hours

    Ke20- 4age

Difficult to drive through car parks, car has a tendency to either go in a straight line or go sideways, can't really go on the power around corners, you will KILL tyres, be lucky to get 5000k's out of a pair on the rear... Have you ever heard a car with a CIG locker go through a car park? When they are going slowly around a corner, or turning, you will hear a steady 'scrub, scrub, scrub, scrub' sound... Weld the diff and work it out mate, diffs are worth sweet f@$k all, i've never paid for a single spinner diff.
  14. I can say from experience that it is pretty f@$kin scary. Try pulling the handbrake at 70 kays, the car will get sideways, but its not gunna turn like you want it to.. instead it wants to aim for the nearest tree, thank f@$k there were some big rocks in the way.. I do understand that this was due to the SHIT front tyres
  15. As far as I know, you can still fit Commodore brake pads on the stock calipers, its in the FAQ, was reading it earlier...
  16. She said i was pretty handsome last night :jamie:
