  1. Nothing like a bit of casual postwhoring to kick a thread off
  2. And to think, I get so many f@$king visitors to my home and I keep it so tidy
  3. I can see geoff jumping on your roof Jono.... seriously.... :)
  4. Swear all you want hahaha Yeah I seen you there man, was a good looking car... came right up to it but you and your mate looked a bit busy and soon left from the speedway oval pretty quickly... didn't think it'd be a good time to chat haha Looked the go though man, went pretty hard :)
  5. Pretty f@$king fast, the poor c**t/s would have broke their legs in that prang... not too funny
  6. L's in six months... Bad news too, today was driving with the old man and it was getting damned close to overheating, no water left in the radiator... I think I've cooked the water pump and the reason it all got out was because the heater has split somewhere in the unit.. now there is about 5 odd litres of water under my carpet, soaking my underlay... haha... So a new water pump and I'll disconnect the heater, then come time I pull the motor out to do a bit of work to it I'll replace the heater unit and go from there... but it looks like my lift kit will be a bit delayed.. Dan
  7. Nah I sold it to coons... I think that'd be enough punishment for it for a lifetime :jamie:
  8. I'd love to come up and do it mate, apart from the fact I haven't got a licence... don't think I could do the bakery deliveries on a pushbike... Just wait 18 odd months and I'll be there :jamie:
  9. Looks like you've done a clean job mate, good on you. I see your using the Alpine prefab box for the Type S? Mine sounds ALOT better with some trackies and egg cartons glued and chucked in, gives a bit more of a thickness and sound deadening in the box.. the optimum box size for the Type S' is actually 5-10L or so extra then the box size that they sell prefab - go figure!
  10. Picked her up last monday, I'm quite happy with her, its a massive upgrade from the EA and she is clean as... picked her up for a score too! When I got her; Had to get rid of those 'poofter stripes' down the rear quarters; It looks a bit more tough now... But the stock stereo was absolute shit... so I decided to whack in some of the components I had lying around into the subi. Namely a Sony CDX-R5210 and a 12" Alpine Type S sub... and an amp to power it (old school ALTEC 2ch amp... 160w bridged - its only temporary) The Alpine will be going, either in place of two Pioneer 306c's or a Boston G2 powered by a Alpine V12 monoblock or Jaycar 800w @ 2ohm monoblock, also either Pioneer or Jaycar splits will be going in the front eventually. For the time being, I have some blaupunkt splits to whack in.. Mod's in the very near future include; - 27" tyres on 14" rims - 2-3" liftkit - Black rubber and carpet boot install with 'false floor' for practicality and ease of cleaning - Some hektik plain black seatcovers and black inserts in the doortrims - Blue footwell neons for front and back passengers, and neons in boot - Limo tint - Many more............. Tell us what you think :jamie: Dan
  11. They don't look like 20's... 18s would be an absolute push for a corolla. Could just be my eyes.. I wouldn't mind seeing how you got them to fit
  12. communist
  13. Except for next time Geoff goes and fills up and they recognise his car.
  14. Sounds like the old banana peels.. hahaha... you'd be right at home in that 'happy high' joint in the gold coast, that shop spun me out :)
  15. ouch, not good, pics/recount of the damage?
  16. Nah, you want it to pan out so that they know exactly why they're getting their 'punishment', exactly who from, but with no way to prove to the copper's who it is... They'd never tell the coppers anyway because they stand to be charged as well
  17. Haha out of interest, what is that? The name makes it sound like its a bloody meth lab or something, hahaha... Amen to that, your a good bloke and when/if you get your sorry ass back to Perth for a visit, I'd like to meet you.. I don't know why. I think I enjoy doing things myself because I like to have a practical understanding of how things work, know that I can do it myself and usually its the only way I can afford to do things, being DIY. Not to mention the only way things can be done properly is if you do it yourself :)... For the fabrication aspect though, that is actually pretty enjoyful :P Can't wait for the 'engineering' that I'll have to do with me Subi :)
  18. Just go there, smash their windscreen and leave a note with something simple like 'thanks for jumping on my roof. i hope the excitement was worth the pain you'll soon be enduring'... Then just slowly, one by one, cross the things on that list off daily :P it'll drive them f@$king insane :)
  19. '66 Fairlane looks good :hmm: as all fairlanes I seem to see do.... You wouldn't happen to know of where any circa 72-73 window-frameless Galaxies are would you, to suit a couple of lil parts?
  20. You never fail to amuse me :hmm: EB 4L = good for burnouts and thrashing EB 5L = excellent for burnouts and torquey as f@$k 4K = ummmmmmm I needed to chock the front wheels to do a burnout :)
  21. lol.
  22. The only thing that I can actually see different between the cars (apart from the wagon part, never mind that) is the bumper, grille and lights... f@$k YOUR MEH
