Whoa. 2500 whole posts. And to consider that I did about 1000-1500 of them in about a month (around a year ago)! Time to reflect on the influence that Rollaclub has had on my life, haha. Bloody addictive site, I don't know how many hours that I've spent looking over the site or the amount of people that I've met through the site.. letalone the information that I've gained from the forums. While we still have the steady input of dickheads that want to ruin it for everyone (man, don't get me started) we've still got the same good yet decent people that make this club a club that one should be proud to be in... No it wouldn't for two things; a) different overall dimensions b) astra convertibles weren't around when the car was built c) no.

Have you got a few spare wheels lying around (you'll need about 10)? Just set it up with a bar across the tyres onto each side of the car, and slowly just place one tyre under each side at a time. Its dodgy but it works if you really need to pull an engine out. Otherwise if they're just k motors take the manifold off and lift it out, I can lift k motors by myself and I'm 15, you should be able to with another person piece of piss. Unless you have a bobcat... :P

KE35 would look good if it was a bit lower on 15's. But IMO at the moment it looks like its a stocko with its roof chopped off.. Hell, even I have one of them :P Celica looks shit hot.. but both cars look like shit with the roofs up.. Cortina coupe would look preeeetty nice

I've found when you lend mates cars, they either end up bogged, broken or with more rubber insulation in the rear wheel arches :) Tell the bloke that had it, hes gunna fix it. Whether he likes it or not.. With your alarm, try disconnecting the battery for half an hour and reconnecting it, it works in e-series falc's. ECU needs to relearn or some shit... The damage and scratch will be a costly exercise to get removed, and a paintless dent bloke will be able to remove the dent for around 100-200 bucks.

1UZ-FE would be killer but I don't particularly like the idea of it... how about a SR20 or a GZE? And sorry man.. although I love your Rolla more than just about any other completed one (sorry man.. but when Teddys is completed it may be a little bit better :)).. I think its better with the bumper on... I admire the way that you've got it looking without the bumper though. Very tidy mate!

Mate.. all you need is some HKS stickers to stick on the doors and you'll be right. With the supercharger as well it should be good for 240hp! Just kidding. You'll be lucky to get 100hp out of it to be honest, you should be able to run stock ignition for the moment (i think). You'll need a carby suited to forced induction applications - Rolla Boy on here used to run a SAAB carby from memory. There are a few other things that will be needed to change but you'd probably be better off speaking to someone whos actually done the conversion already. Rolla Boy will probably be posting in here before you even look at this again anyways :)

Yeah, but thats not counting for the actuators for the central locking, wiring to it etc, plus it'd be a headf@$k putting an immobiliser in a late model car unless you are up to date with them. You'd be better off *just* doing the central locking rather than trying to incorporate an immobiliser... Pretty much anything by Jaycar is the go, I've noticed...
