I spent around 12k on it, only for it to get stolen about 4 months ago (no insurance) and not recovered. I don't expect it to be found, it will be cut up by now, bloody scum cartheives ;). But at the same time as I had the Commodore I also had a KE50" Fixxered

Whats wrong with turbo V8s? You'll notice that the fastest cars on the drag strip are turboed V8s, not turboed 4s

You can still drive cars with welded diffs on the street if you approach it with the right driving style. I know people who drive cars with lockers daily

Haha sweet. Considering a 253 is 4.2L, and k motors are 1.3L, they are quite relative in aspects of power per litre...

Modifications that appear performance orientated, which are not performance orientated in any way at all, are ricey.

You could always weld the diff...

I still have that urge for a KE70. If anyone knows of one under the $500 mark, somewhat licenced and in average condition, I will definately consider buying it off this 'person'. Cheers Dan

They killed a pretty damned nice KE70 :lol: really badly too. Gotta be stolen, it had mags and all and they just killed it and set the f@$ker on fire ;)

Only thing that I could possibly think of, to make the car look better, are black wheels.. thats the only thing though! Tops car mate, we'll just keep them famous last words to ourselves eh... ;)

I don't have any problem with new people. Nor do I have a problem with people that ask similar questions as that - I've been in the same boat - as a matter of fact, I still ask newbie style questions. However the thing that puts me off this particular question is the insincerity of the question. Why am I going to answer a question, when the person who asked it a) can't word sentences in proper english b) doesn't appear to have any knowledge about the SR20 nor the KE30, and hasn't appeared to have done any homework - a simple google search or rollaclub search will yield excellent results in regards to research c) has a picture of a car that isn't his (although granted, it is a particularly nice car) in his signature d) puts a sarcastic face emoticon after introducing him/herself as 'hi guys' But regardless, welcome to Rollaclub, enjoy your stay, however limited it may be. Mates KE35 has a worked 3k with a straight thru 2.5" exhaust on it. Its a bit loud when its up in the revs, I'd reckon a 2" exhaust with a long resonator would sound alot better. If your only after some noise, regardless of legalitys, whack your exhaust back on and chop it *after* the diff. Dan

Just draw cut your exhaust and write sr20 on the rocker cover. You'll be fully sick then. And get the panel shop to reinforce your chassis? Cheap? Nah, use cardboard instead. Morons.

What do you care? You haven't got one, obviously.

It'll buff out. How come its going to cost you so much to fix your car 'too quick'? Whats the damage?
