  1. Doubt it. The KE70 has a different floor pan. Just drill it, its easier. Some had 3.9s but most had 4.1s. Cross that bridge if/when you get to it... http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...ferential_Gears to find out your ratio. Yes and yes. I swapped the KE20 back to a 4spd (when the K50s seals blew out both ends) and used a KE70 clutch and flywheel without issue so theres a wide compatability range. Teddy put the box in my KE70 by himself. Theyre tiny little boxes (I think I used "cute" to describe one once). You wont have a problem lifting them.
  2. guys...look at the bloody location!
  3. Relay Issue?
  4. ok enough silly buggers ...or not...bwahaha. Thanks to another moderator (who shall remain unnamed) for that one... Slap that ass
  5. odd looking monkey
  6. Cash bribes only thanks JiP_01 :lolcry:
  7. The switch is on the pedal box on the pedal stop.
  8. Auto is a completely different kettle of fish. When I put a KE70 box in my KE20 I used the KE20 speedo cable without any issues. My KE20 tute http://www.rollaclub.com/articles/gearbox/ Shouldnt be too much different for KE30s We swapped the plate over for the KE70 plate but the bolt holes physically didnt exist in the block.
  9. Stay tuned, I have something in the works :hmm:
  10. Tailshaft will fit. Its only the shifter position that changes not the overal lenght of the box. The clutch and flywheel are most likely the same (KE20s are different). If theyre not get a flywheel off a KE70 and a new clutch kit to suit. The only thing that might be different is 2 bolt positions that have changed on the KE70 (or 4K...I'm not sure exactly when the change happened). Theres still plenty of bolts so no need to worry about it. All the gearbox changes I do are with the engine in the car. Hardest one is the silvia, corollas probably the easiest. Id only take the engine out if space was really an issue and its certainly not in the corolla.
  11. Standard KE20 tailshaft fits fine. Its possibly a bit short/long but I never experienced any problems. I payed $150 for a rebuilt one a few weeks back. Around $100 is the usual going price.
  12. don't download it, thats where the exploit is run through. There is a microsoft security update and patches here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms06-001.mspx And a removal tool & information for those infected here: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data...exploit.56.html I worked on AE86DC last night and I _think_ Ive solved their problems , I'll work on solving ours now.
  13. These issues a reoccuring again. We're slowly getting to the bottom of the issue, but its taking some time to comb through alot of files... If you do notice problems try to note the approx time it started happening, it may help us.
  14. Tried sending an email instead...? I'll investigate.... Edit: can't see any reason you shouldnt be able to. Try sending one to me, perhaps that persons PM box is full....
  15. Sure you just can't count properly?? :hmm: My 3 speed auto did about 3800rpm on the highway.... You must have like a 4.5 ratio diff or something stupid like that.
  16. I thought there was an RB20 box that was shorter....
  17. A 5 speed gearbox will give you over drive with a ratio of 0.865. I did a 5 speed conversion in my KE20 (Here) way back when. I like the KE70 box length, even though you have to cut a bit of tunnel away to fit the shifter in. The shifter position is just right (for me anyway). I think the KE55 boxes are slightly shorter, but by how much I don't know. The gearbox conversion should make highway driving a little more bearable. I would try and avoid going for a lower ratio diff because the 3K doesnt have the torque to cope with it. Do the gearbox first, then see how you go. 18. Hey JC807 why wouldnt your order be Return Fuel Rail Return Low pressure in Makes more sense to me that way???
  19. Intank pumps need a bowl to sit in to stop them surging. Its not as easy as just dunking a pump in the fuel (unless you like filling up every 200km). If you need some visual clarification I think Ive still got my old silvia tank up the back somewhere to take a snapshot of the bowl. I'm running a 235lph Bosch 040 and my rubber flex fuel lines are all 6mm ID return and feed.
  20. cracking up here Maybe try shorter steering arms. Not sure what car you could get them off. AE86 power steering arms perhaps?
  21. Yep...but just watch how far it drops it. I think Xany used a 3K bigport head and shaved the living crap out of it and still ended up with quite a low compression ratio.
  22. I give up.... best of luck finding someone to help
  23. Score! Ive noticed with my silvia when I stop the engine at night with the headlights on, they'll get brighter just as you turn the key off (while the engines still turning and altenator still charging) and then die down again as the engine slows to a halt. So the EFI system as a whole must drain a fair amount of power. Noticed much difference with the 90 amper?
  24. OK...so use a bit more detail than "what do I need to do"... I could sit here all night and type out a full and complete answer...but I wont and I'm sure no one else will either. Why don't you let us in on what YOU know already and ask SPECIFIC questions about what you need information on.
  25. Do some bloody research. No one whats to help you because it sounds like you havent got 3/10s of a f@$king clue.... Research, show your research, ask sensible questions, WAIT for reply.
