I put KE70 discs on the front of mine. Not much of a size increase but you can buy better brake pads for them (the girlock calipers take the same pads as VN commodore rears).
In my experience the control arms are not interchangeable. The KE2x arms are longer than the KE3x/55 so unless you want to end up with fulli sick positive camber pass on that option. Also the KE2x steering knuckle bolt is smaller than the KE3x from memory.
errm....It'd wanna be a bloody long joyride....I was considering selling my car to pay for my P.P.L (wont let me type just p p l :))...but I can afford it anyway. Might have to sell it to finish my CPL though :D
Whats your point? My SR is bog stock with a slightly larger turbo and I'm gunning for a 12.99.... I don't think I'll get there just yet but Its not far off. Theres accually a 10 second silvia around too...in Queensland no less....shock horror!! No surprise its running an SR...
Just drive the CA for what it is. I wouldnt bother sinking big money into it. Dollar for dollar the SR will go faster.
I'm really keen to see how this turns out! Youre really breaking new ground here. Everyones been scared off by rumors of weak drive trains etc in the past.
On the topic of 4wd wagons.... I wouldnt mind owning a 3S-GTE Caldina. Kind of like a mini Stagea
haha nah not me then. Havent even stickered mine. I remembered during the day that I would've been driving the silvia that afternoon anyway.
Did it have ROH Reflex rims on it??
If its a boss kit youre talking about, then most likely they would be the same. Ive had the exact same boss on a KE70, KE20 and TA22 so theres alot of compatability pre-1990.
