  1. N14 SSS Pulsar $4500 put rims on it, suspension sold for $7000 :) Back when i had a 70 I bought: -A clean resprayed shell with no fines or defects -A complete T50 and 4ac engine gearbox (AE71) -AE71 Pedal box -clutch master -lines -brake booster -interior bits All for $350 :bash: :)
  2. To add to that you say you don't want to stress your engine, by runnning a larger turbo that takes longer to spool, it is going to put more stress on your engine by the process of continually putting it under load because of the lack of power being made to get up to speed. Also, pick and choose between absolute power, from what you have said so far my understanding is you want something that can make reasonable power but still spool and be easy to drive... In that case, see what size turbo's relate to the stock one and see what is somewhat of a good increase in size, speak to turbo specialists and people who have experimented. One other question is are you going to be building this engine? because if your not then its not worth going for a larger turbo due to the fact that the 3sge wont be able to hold the boost pressure over say 5-6psi So in other words, id be going with a 3SGTE from factory and going from there, can always upgrade and is easier to upgrade parts than to down grade :) Karl.
  3. If you kept the silver centercaps contrast would be great... Coloured spokes and the red walls would compliment the car GREATLY, I think the red offsets some of the orange really well :) Karl.

  5. in that situation id do what would be best for my health and well being.... simply walk (in this case drive) the f@$k off! then again i wouldnt mind going nuts at dimbwits like these...... I do not in anyway condone this behavior :)
  6. Tailgaters... Friggen DOUCHE driving down greenhill today, theres 5+ cars infront of me including a van and this dudes right up my clacker, I slow down to give a lil more gap still stays where i can't see his headlights and this was a High off the ground Subaru Forrester I'm a Low 112, anyway I slow down a bit so i have room to boost ahead to give him the idea to not tailgate He catches back up on the next straight, does it again so i repeat, and then he catches up again so i just dab the brakes so my lights flicker he freaks a bit, then is all high beaming me and goin off, MATE your the one in the wrong!!!

  10. any of the lines really that are between the (throttle body or butterfly)
  11. Just purely as a weight Point of view, 3/4 of my weight on my car is at the front so warrants heavier spring rates, where as if it was an MR2 then it would be round the other way. But all in all its fine juggling act, between to too stiff, what you enjoy driving and what is too soft. Karl. EDIT: and if what you're saying is that softer springs will help with traction is the opposite for me, harder the less rebound and less movement so therefore traction ;)
  12. Thats a turbo rolla i like to see :D One day il poor a shit load more money into mine ;)
  13. whats this game you speak of... ;)
  14. 8kg Fronts 6kg Rears They are actually a really nice ride, i previously had an S13 with TIEN coilovers and the ride was horrible and bouncy and uber hard. With these you feel the road but its not back breaking! I'm actually overjoyed with how they've turned out! P.S. They are the full race shocks not the street race option Karl.
  15. As ive mentioned in topics like this before, the possible 5% +/- of drivers out there that seem to have to make a point by driving like douchbags ruins it for the rest of us. As a result, society as we know it has gotten to the point where the bad people (drivers) in this case are supposedly the tip of the iceberg and therefore the rest must behave like this also. Sure i agree totally that you should be fined/booked for doing wrong on the road, but when all your doing is driving seeing what other people have done to their cars and are content that you car is legal then why chase down everyone for the small amount of people that do wrong. As per what lesley has said, the cruise that was held where the meet was at lofty, i attended said cruise and there was police attendance, bar the fact that they were notified is not the point, they took total advantage of said notification. Setting up defects all along the given cruise route. As per a memorial cruise last year (that was also notified to task force and police) I also attended and throughout the entire cruise no police cars were noticed by me or others. So why change now? As i said before its the small amount of people that screw it up for the rest of us. It used to go through stages of who was targeted, commodores then imports then falcons then back to commodores, possibly throw euro cars into the mix. Now unfortunately they decide that we can have no more liberty as to what we want to do and make it extremely difficult to meet new people who are passionate about cars. Having said that there is a fine line between being passionate and being, honestly lets face it... dumb, and those who decide to drive on the road with their cars unroadworthy IMO deserve to be pulled over and or proceeded to have their car checked over to be deemed roadworthy again. All in all it irritates me that they target one certain group of people, although the demographics who don't have an interest in cars is probably greater than those who do, and therefore are the majority, so who is the government going to try and please???
  16. Technically they're ISC Coilovers, there is a guy in NZ known as Bazda who is a parts retailer and has these custom made springs shocks and made to fit AE series rollas. Karl.

  19. So il let the following do the talking... :D
  20. OO! OO! OO! And ive just started using race suspension :D
  21. I know theres no need i just have always rev matched and only do it when i need a gear quicker. One of those lil things that i like doing :rolls: OOO! good example, an AW11 with an E58 'Box struggles and is notchy (just how the box is) start double clutching and it makes life so much easier! A mate had no 2nd gear syncro in his ceff and if you didnt double clutch PERFECTLY it would have a very hard time getting in.
  22. To me double clutching is utterly pointless going up gears because you are by releasing the clutch spinning the gearbox faster than what you need it to for the next gear, thus making the 'box/synchros do more work. On the other hand going down gears makes my shifts 10 times quicker than not double clutching, by force of spinning the gearbox faster with revs to match it all together and grab the gear you want much quicker. High speed applications it becomes more noticeable. Having said all that i only do it when needed not just cruising around the place. Karl.
  23. too add the RAV4 so much for a small/compact 4WD...
