  1. Definately, i made sure i did that. Fitted everything as per instructions and it just keeps grabbing later and later and loosing its "grip" as well :( Maybe a Cushioned Button is in order  Karl.
  2. Haha don't stress about the lift if my car wasnt leaking oil thru the bad driveshaft seal and i didnt break my exhaust hanger lol i would have taken mine. Also, if i do replace my clutch i will bo going to Toyota and getting the TRD Heavy duty, I'm sick of hearing stupid aftermarket good and bad stories. But i need suspension first  too many thing on the list atm. I love these cars and i don't think that they could easily handle more power at the wheels, id love to go more but really they are pretty damn poky as per different setups weve had so far. Lesley the IS200 sounds like a good idea, worse comes to worse you get the rolla fixed later but you still have a nice MANUAL car to drive in the mean time :bash: But honestly with the new turbo and manifold, just the turbo alone to my car made a massive! difference it feels totally different to your car as per today. don't understand if its tune or just simply age of cars or the fact that I'm used to driving mine, power delivery is made in totally different ways, having some turbo/manifold issues wont help tho :) 192atw is quite respectable, especially as you have all wheel drivetrain so that saps power. Oh and lesley the age of your engine wouldnt make a difference, mine is still the stock one from the info i have gathered and yours and mine sound alike so i think its down to the intake/Different compressor wheels in the turbos. Karl.
  3. Id be assuming different sounds due to upgraded turbos, but honestly different turbos are designed differently not nessacarily materials, having said that mine "does's: and yours flutters, honestly try a pvc intake and see what that comes out like :bash: Also lesley, your clutch makes mine feel puncy! I'm devd i didnt buy something worth while
  4. Yeah its a low mount design manifold, i could use one of them it may already be split but having said that i honestly have not seen the inside of it. FYI the small exhaust section is approx 1.75 inch if that so it would be one of the restrictions in the line. Oh and also I replaced my clutch the other week (ahh 2 weekends ago) so near on 3 weeks, and its already on the way out! It started life grabbing close as all hell to the floor and then it started to gain height, i assumed that this was normal wear in but its just kept getting worse! Basically is it worth upgrading to another supposedly stronger Xtreme or just go another brand/the TRD Heavy duty these came with stock? Karl.

Ah now it makes sense, cause i knew Bugz was going to Mt Alma didnt know there was a cruise going back. Damn i missed it, was pulling into work at the time :bash: Looked like a decent group. Karl

Spotted quite a few rollas late arvo/early evening in Stirling in the hills, there seemed to be a lead car which was a dumped 70 wags with what looked like to me with 8's on the front and near 9's on the rear  Then another few 70's following was dark, a white AE86, stopped with another few ke70's there. Then 2 in the petty station that were filling up, one was a light brown and had those massive drift pipes out the back big wide wheels and dumped, the other white drift spec lol Then spotted Bugz in his FXGT. Gave a wave :bash: Karl.
  8. Dosent take much these days hey Danny
  9. Welcome to the forum. Is a good environment 99% of the time, you're always going to get wankers lol Karl.
  10. ^^ No joke then theres this aswell

Wow that shine is intense! I think ive seen it before but not in its current glory! Karl.
  12. There is the MAP Sensor as well as a Turbo Pressure Sensor that has 1 line going to the ECU. Yeah they came factory like that :y: Definately want a larger exhaust as well. Theres a real small section between my dump and the cat thats in a real tight space and is so damn small. Karl.
  13. These Sportivos don't actually have "Boost Control Solenoid" as such just a vacuum/boost operated wastgate actuator. I'm assuming the thing youve spliced into is the Turbo Pressure Sensor, basically tells the ECU what boost pressure is running at and is another measure to help the car run. Nothing really to do with boost control (unless overboost shutdown ) Ive used the line going into the ECU for my adaptive turbo timer so it tells my timer unit how hard ive been driving and then calculates the "cool down period" its a little more complex but short of an essay its difficult to explain lol  Ive only had 1 previous run which netted me the 91kw. Thats with a restriction somewhere, Lesley on the other hand has made 105kw on approx 7psi from memory :y: Karl.
  14. Ive looked into the EBoost Street, neat little unit. Il buy one after i save up :y: and theres a straight piece of vacuum line going from the compressor to the actuator. Interesting but owel. Yeh I'm not too worried about hurting any sensors with the increased boost more like stable boost, i was watching it today and my gauge needle vibrates quite madly, only once or twice other times it was more smooth. Still interesting. Theres no control that the ECU has over the boost, it has a boost sensor, and I'm assuming thats for overboost but it dosent go into limp home mode or anything to reduce power. Just need to sort it out then chase more power, honestly id be happy with approx 110-120kw as a result of the upgraded turbo, exhaust.... Thanks Karl.
  15. Well no dosent really make sense, as you can see the power line levels off at 4k and produces no additional power as the boost drops off higher revs, and as such, with the boost drops off so does the torque rather dramatically, i need to do a couple things and then il be able to hold constant boost pressure, and gain more power. Karl.
  16. So heres my current/ most up to date dyno sheet
  17. i definately wouldnt pass the 10 pound mark i want a Turbosmart Eboost Street. I would suggest an electronic EBC, best way to go about it  Karl. Edit: 200th Post
  18. The flutter sounds sweet, id prefer that than the 'does' but i don't believe that I'm able to do it :D Anyway ive got my B.O.V so I'm good :fuzz: more boost and a bigger cooler will make it more distance as such more gap between the tsch tsch tsch! lol if that makes sense. Its awesome surprising people  The top mount position shouldnt make that much of a difference cause the Tivos still have a cooler and a lot of piping even with the CAI. As per many other cars. What setup do you have on the subie? The 'wank' factor I'm referring to is the 'does' il show you what i mean soon.... prob today :P Karl.
  19. Thats very interesting! Ive never been able to get flutter as such, having said that we both have upgraded turbos so maybe thats it? Il post a vid soon of my car soon, when i have a chance :S Karl. P.S Il post 2 one of the flutter and one of the bov :D
  20. Could easily be the guage the can't handle the increase in voltage since its grown old not too sure investigate these options first :D Karl.
  21. So if you fill up with a full tank, does it read anything? or even when its not full? Its prob just a sender unit or the fact that the sender unit has moved and is only going to give a reading when there is a certain amount in the tank. Karl.
  22. Yeah seen that it would be something else to drive if you ask me, we need a rotor quad bike now :D
  23. Depends on what your doing with the car, If your looking for a good mileage tyre then steer away from the RE001's having said that i had them on my pulsar and they really did grip like shit to a blanket. FYI, i got 6000km out of the front pair of RE001's on my pulsar, and were nearly bald :S Grip well but as any tyre that grips wont last as long. Take your time deciding on what you wnat and whant you need as well as what you do with the car :D Karl.
  24. Wait your younger than me??? lol not by much but... Happy Birthday Ryan. Enjoy yourself :P Karl.
