was parked past the building on the left as you enter off smart road :P The Little side entrance there
  2. Id say just get it running good and work on the body when you can, if it is a project car, and you like/love it then keep it :P Karl.
  3. Lol not saying it isnt, but when on cruise...................
  4. I'm assuming you mean double demerits. Yeah have been in place for a while now. Have to thank Soulsearcher for telling me tho :D
  5. Public Holiday I keep thinking about double demerits if anything happens (cought speeding etc) Plus I'm possibly going away for easter so with those two things in mind I'm out. Karl.
  6. wow! i think i got off easy i only needed 1.9 and its working fine, add trade price as that helps :D Karl.
  7. Haha how much are you willing to pay :D It was approx $40 a bottle and the bottle is 1 litre :D Expensive stuff but well worth the price i love it :D Karl.
  8. Hmmm ok you got a point lol But no this time I'm assuming that it is whether I'm going away or not lol Karl.
  9. May not be coming, depends on whether I'm going away for easter or not. Karl.
  10. First of all i know this is old but i still love how it comes on boost :)
  11. Either Child in age or child at heart :) But i know what you mean one famous person does something stupid or possibly attention grabbing and the world wont leave him alone for it. Oh and I'm with luke, i don't want to drive F1 either. Karl
  12. Thanks again :) Um when its VERY cold it shifts mildly more difficultly but that is being very picky. The clutch engages close to the floor (still getting used to it and no i havent stalled it :)) But yes it drives awesomely. Stupid aligning of the clutch and then getting the gearbox back on and the rear engine mounts and the............. lol i should stop. But i am very happy to be driving her again :) Karl.
  13. Haha thats the way :) Having said that you may come across as a light-weight because of the cold and flu tablets, they have paracetamol and they heighten the effects of alcohol in your system. May be a good thing, but can end a usually good night badly lol Enjoy yourself, Happy 18th Birthday :)
  14. So i had all the Torque settings and still no luck getting her running :) Jus jokes :) The Tivo is all up and running again, great pedal feel and grab. Drives really nicely and the gearbox oil is wildly good stuff :)

A Little late but been getting the Tivo on the road again. Spotted near Lower North East Road a White 55 and then at TAFE Tea Tree Gully a Blue Ke70. This was friday morning.
  16. Yeah same size clutch cover and friction plate and a much better condition thrust bearing :) lol One thing tho I'm not sure if i had something incorrect or not but the little aligning tabs didnt seem to go through the holes on the clutch cover will asses when I'm back there on Saturday. I might just be ignorant not too sure. Karl. EDIT: The little clutch cover alignment tabs on the flywheel if you didn't get it before :)
  17. Even if I'm unable to come would like to get a copy or at least see some of the piccies. Having said that i would like some more good pics of my car :) Let you know closer to the date for sure. Karl.
  18. So ive been told its AWESOME! and yes expensive approx. $40 a litre ;) So UPDATE: clutch and Gearbox is off and was the standard TRD heavy duty item, i was actually surprised about this. What made it all die in the arse was the Thrust bearing gave way all the bearings in it had seized and are all sitting in one side of the circle. Clutch fork is good, the thrust bearing spring went everywhere was finding bits all thru the bell housing lol so thats what i heard snap and as a result the thrust bearing fell out and comprende no more clutch movement. So had the flywheel machined, the guy took 12thou off it  Getting a torque wrench for Sat (as i have a full day of TAFE tomorrow) which leads me to my nxt question, Is there anywhere that i can find torque settings for my flywheel bolts and the rest of the clutch components and every bit that attaches to the gear box? But its all off and in pieces atm will update with piccies when shes all running again :o Karl.
  19. Taz has dropped the nail on the head, most people on here have a kind heart and i myself would like to add that I'm sorry to hear for your loss, i believe we have all lost someone in our lives, but having only been 2 hours..... i don't know how i would cope. The only piece of advice regarding the tyres is ask around at tyre shops and see if they have some second hand, sometimes they can be ok nick just don't rely on them for ever. Abigail, forever young, RIP Karl.
  20. that looks quite nice actually ;) That vacuum line runs to the oil air separator from memory lesley had a bung welded on hers and ive still retained that small bit of rubber tubing that has the connector for it from factory. Id definitely recommend getting it hooked up as it helps with the operation of the oil air separator Karl.
  21. Also make an effort to check your tyre pressures before you drive, or wait therefor giving them a chance to cool down. Ive done it at work before half my car was in the sun (the left side) and then the right side tyres were cooler than the left and there was a difference in pressure about 4psi just without driving on them. An easy rule of thumb is to check them when they're cold as it is the easiest to replicate on different occasions. Karl.
  22. 7AFTE Crap its turbo :jamie: :P
  23. Yeah experimentation is really the best way to go about it, at my old work we ran 3/4 of the cars with similar sizes at 34psi. Then again it all depends on how you drive and what you want out of it. Personally i run 42psi in my fronts and 40 in my rears, although i do have 205/40 17's Karl.
  24. can you care to explain how? I'm curious Although you don't recommend what pressure to run? Karl.
  25. Yeah if they are 13's or 14's id still stick with 34psi for day to day driving, it gives good wear and good performance. Tyre pressures move with new technology and time :jamie:
