Well it was parked and I didn't want to be more specific in case it sits there all day. I drive through that ghetto place every day on my way to Holden (eek) :D

I spotted the MYSTIK machine somewhere in Elizabeth this morning :D
  3. This is why I meet people to sell things. My KE11 is parked at my place all day and I'm not there to watch it full time so the less people who know it is there the better. Some people may think I am a dodgy seller and it's like I don't want them to know where I live in case there is an issue with the item, but they have my number and if there has been any issues I have gladly sorted them out by phone or further meet up. I know this won't bring your camera back, but it may help for future transactions :D
  4. Here are some pics of it soon after I bought it
  5. Yes indeed the green machine!!! Needs a bit of a tidy up but all the chrome work and stuff looks to be in good nick so with a quick freshen up it will be ummmmm fresh. :D
  6. Nick it just keeps getting better, you must be so glad you got it back!!! I'll have to come down for a look next time I'm at the folks. Oh and the boy bought a KE20, so once we perform some mods and stuff it will be gracing your street :D
  7. I'm down for this, not sure what car I will be bringing but it won't be the KE11 sorry :D
  8. Do it Philbey :D
  9. You have a nack for finding these things :jamie:
  10. You're right Tom, once I start on it it will be completed. I started and finished my engine conversion on my last car so there is no reason to doubt that I won't complete this  I am getting together a range of bald tyres to try on to work out how much flare and stretch of guards is required, so this thing is happening. I have to measure the front struts too to work out which Otomoto Sleeve Kit to go with, and organise some KE20 adjustable camber tops :jamie:

Ah bugger we were trying to get it as cheap as possible hey.... going to try get it on the road for under $1K, should still be able to though at that price! :jamie: It will be seeing the road again soon after some rust repairs and a manual conversion

Spotted an Ebay win equalling a KE20 coming to my joint!!!! :jamie: Also today spotted Toms.AE71's old rig drove past my place, noticed the chrome femini bumpers a mile off
  13. Just helped my brother in law buy a KE20 off ebay, so it's coming to mine for some resto work before it hits the streets!! Best bit is if he changes his mind on it I will buy it from him so I will have an 11 and a 20, :jamie:
  14. Damn I love the fitment, like everyone else said though just lower it and it will finish off the exterior!!!!
  15. this thing is boneriffic Troy!! :jamie:
  16. I saw a hot Ford Anglia in the hills today with 7 inch wide Superlights all round and the stretched metal guards he had on there were perfection. Let me just say that on the Anglia the wheels would have hung out the guards by way more than they do on my KE11. I now know what it would need to look like if done. I really need someone who is good with chops/photoshop on a computer or something to give me a concept, coz once I start on it it's too late :jamie: I can supply more pics if someone is keen
  17. These cars are funny hey for some reason they are just so fun to drive!! :jamie: Nice job you have done to it mate to bring that thing back from a certain death
  18. Yeah but see the difference in the dish between them and the 7 inch wide ones. If Performance made the 6 inch wide with the same dish it would be fine, but they don't :jamie:
  19. I am expecting a bill of around the $1000 mark for the guard work!! I will have to see some crash shops about it and see what their thoughts are :jamie:
  20. So help me out here guys, I am torn between what to do with my KE11. This is the look I am trying to achieve: This is how the rims I got sit so there is plenty of stretching or welding on extra metal to do: So vote and help me out. There will be no over fenders as they will not suit the shape of this car :jamie:
  21. Now that's more like it Tom!!! :jamie: It will be all metal guards, none of this overfender crap. The more I think about it the more it has to be all metal
  22. Buying it off me one day... I ain't swapping sorry not unless there was some cash adjustment and I don't think I could part with it anyway
  23. hahaha are you for real??
  24. Despite how the car might look in the photos it is far from original with a respray, etc so this is why I am turning more towards hacking it up. If it was a truly overrated original then no way in hell
  25. So everyone do I get some bolt on flares or go all metal guards?? I keep thinking that the flares won't suit the body shape  And if flares do I paint them body colour or black.
